I like the ending and don’t think it needs to be stretched further.

she’s in love with him but he doesn’t see her in that way. plus, he likes someone else so she won’t act on her emotions in fear of jeopardizing their friendship.

that’s how I intended on ending it. just because it’s not a "happy ending" doesn’t mean it "needs" a sequel or it’s a cliffhanger either. :/
