“I guess I would never love anyone again.”

I wish he would give me a chance. Joonmyeon thought as he stared at his roommate Kyungsoo and his boyfriend Jongin sitting together on the couch, laughing at a joke that didn’t reach Joonmyeon’s ears.

Joonmyeon frowned. I try, I really do. He bit his lip. Why can’t he see that?

Joonmyeon lifted himself from his seat at the dining table and walked towards the two younger men. He watched as Kyungsoo’s eyes glistened as he let out each soft laugh. He loved the way his lips curled up into that infamous heart shaped smile.

He wasn’t smiling at Joonmyeon though. He was smiling at Jongin. The man Joonmyeon wished he was. The man Kyungsoo loved.

He stood in front of them. “Kyungsoo-ah,” he outstretched his arm towards the younger man, “here.”

Kyungsoo seized laughing for a bit to look at the contents of Joonmyeon’s hand. It was a light blue paper crane standing upright in Joonmyeon’s palm.

“I was bored.” Joonmyeon lied smiling at Kyungsoo’s big curious eyes.

“Thanks hyung.” Kyungsoo smiled picking up the small delicate bird. He chuckled. “It’s pretty.”

Jongin looked up at Joonmyeon. “Yea, thanks.” He smirked darkly and brought a hand to Kyungsoo’s thigh.

Joonmyeon’s face hardened as he looked into Jongin’s sharp eyes. He never knew what Kyungsoo saw in him. Every time Jongin came over to their apartment Joonmyeon felt like just walking out. He hated seeing Jongin touch Kyungsoo. Hated hearing him laugh alongside the man he loved.

“You’re welcome.” Suho smiled and walked away.

He reassumed his seat at the dining table and looked at Kyungsoo and Jongin again from the corner of his eye. Jongin touched Kyungsoo’s lips lightly as he played with the crane. Kyungsoo turned into honey under Jongin’s touch as Jongin leaned into his lips. The two massaged each other’s lips gently as they sat on the couch. Joonmyeon could see the pink of their tongues meeting each other in between their lips. Kyungsoo’s soft moan traveled through the living room as he pulled Jongin closer. Their plush lips continued to move rythmically with one another's. Joonmyeon looked away, his heart aching.

Kyungsoo-ah, one day he’s going to break your heart. One day you’re going to be hurting so much. One day you’re going to feel like the only person you could ever love was him. When that day comes, I’ll be the one to show you that you’re wrong. And you’ll be happy that I did.
