I was sitted on the piano, the music was drowning the four corners of the building.

 

Someone was beside me and when I looked over at him,

 

Lay's smile greeted me.

 

I took my time to look at his face, to memorize it. It was so peaceful, as if he's not feeling any pain, as if he never felt it.

 

"Lay..." I called him, my voice soft and tender. He looked at me and smiled, probably waiting for me to say something.

 

I didn't say anything.

 

I just kept on staring at him.

 

"Lay..." I called out again.

 

He stopped playing.

 

And hugged me.

 

I hugged him back.

 

I miss him.

 

I miss him so much.

 

"I love you." I whispered as his image gradually vanishes through the thin air, mixing with the breeze.

 

"I love you, Lay." This time, he was completely gone. Tears broke free from my eyes.

 

"I love you, Lay." I repeated as my eyes slowly opens.

 

It was just another dream.

 

I woke up.

 

Tears are streaming down my face.

 

"I love you, Lay. I'll always do." I whispered to myself as I close my eyes.

"Hi I'm Lay." It was his voice. Whispering. And a couple of seconds after I saw his face. Tears started falling again.

"Aya was sleeping, I should be quiet." He told the camera. Then, I saw myself, sleeping, like what Lay said.

 

"Did you see this girl? She's the most beautiful girl in the world. There's no one like her. And I'm very lucky to have her in my life."

I saw myself stir a little. Lay went over to me and kissed my forehead.

 

"I love you." He said as the video ended.

 

I clicked another one as the tears continued to flow.

 

"Hi, I'm Lay."

"And I'm Aya."

 

We appeared on the screen. It was the time when we went to the mall. The day before he got confined to the hospital.

 

We were happy back then. No problems. No worries. Just the two of us.

 

"Hey, Lay. Why didn't the cow chirp?" I was the one holding the camera.

"Aya..." It was him again.

 

"I actually didn't know what to say. But will you listen to me?"

 

His eyes were sad, though a small smile was on his face.

 

"I am Lay. Your Lay. Please don't forget that. I know I'll die soon. But please don't forget about me. I love you. And I will always do. I'll be here. I'll protect you. I'll guard you. I will stay beside you forever. But Aya, if I die promise me you wouldn't cry. Don't cry.
