[Flashback]

“Hey, JiHoon, what are you doing alone ?” DaeHyun asked my brother, JiHoon. JiHoon was staring at a picture in his phone with a smile: it was me. JiHoon ignored his question and kept on staring at his phone screen.

DaeHyun glanced at the screen and smiled, he started to tease:

“Yah, Is she your girlfriend?”

JiHoon chuckled and said:

“Unfortunataly, no. She’s my little sister.”

DaeHyun said:

“She’s cute.”

“Why? Do you want me to introduce her to you ? That’s a big No. Moreover, she is cute but her personality is… kind of boyish.”

[End of the Flashback]

I was walking alone in the street. I was going to the university when a girl stopped in front of me, I stared at her and walked away. She shouted:

“Yah! Don’t ignore me!”

I heard what she said, but I started to walk away while turning the volume up of my music. But some boys stopped me by grabbing my right arm, I sighed when the girl went in front of me and shouted:

“YAH ! Don’t you dare to steal my DaeHyun from me and other DaeWon!”

I scoffed and ignored her. When I was about to walk away, she grabbed me by the collar and pushed me on the floor, I remained calm. When she took the necklace around my neck and broke it, she stared at it and said:

“So cheap…” She threw it on the floor. My eyes widened , it was a gift from my brother. Here, I stood up and took her by her hair harshly and she winced in pain; I shouted:

“What did you say?!”

She started to shout and pretend to be the victim even if it was her who wanted to beat me up. I threw her on the ground and picked up the necklace. Her knees were bleeding.

When Hyunsik came to me and held my right arm and brought me to the university, silent filled the atmosphere when he said:

“You were the best when you hit that B*tch!”

I chuckled; but a different feeling filled my heart when we were walking in the school corridor: I was stressed because today, was the day we knew if we pass the exam.

Here, we were in front of the school billboard. When Hyunsik looked at me with surprised eyes. I stared at the billboard but I saw my name at the end of the paper and the word next to my name was : Fail.

After that, tears filled my eyes, JiHyun and HyeMi came to us and put an arm around our shoulders, JiHyun asked us:

“So? Hyunsik? Did you pass the exam?”

He ignored the question and kept on staring at me with sorrow eyes.

HyeMi said:

“I’m sure JinA passed the exam!”

I, then slowly walked away while keeping my tears in my eyes. I put my hands on my mouth and went outside. Slowly , the promise I’ve made to JiHoon before appeared in my head.

[Flashback]

I was walking next to my brother. We finally, met each other after a long time. It was late. He, suddenly said:

“You have to accept the request I said to you.”

I grew annoyed:

“What request?”

He chuckled and said:

“If I dance here, and if girls go crazy over me. I’ll tell you.”

I laughed:

“You won’t success with your ugly face…”

He rolled his eyes and started to dance. He was right, girls were screaming for him. After he finished his dance,I stared at him and said:

“Ouaww..… these girls have weird taste… How can they find you amazing?”

He ignored my question:

“My request is: if I’m not here next to you, make sure you study well and have a good job, my lovely sister.”

“Lovely? Yes, I promise my awesome brother.”

The thing I didn’t expect happened one month after our promise…

I ran in the street when I saw a boy on the ground with blood around him. I shouted:

“JiHoon Oppa!” I started to cry when policemen were holding me and didn’t want to go to him:

“Please! Let me go, he’s my brother! Oppa! you have to be strong, don’t leave me alone!” JiHoon was staring at me, I could see that he wanted to tell me something with tears in his eyes...

The reason why he left me was because he was hit by a car…

[End of the Flashback]

I was waiting to cross the road, I was alone, and there was nobody in the street. It was calm. I finally, let go of the tears and started to cry. I mumbled:

“I’m S-sorry Oppa…”

My sight became blurry when I saw that someone was waving at me , it was a boy in the opposite street, he was smiling. It was DaeHyun.
I didn’t know why, but I started to cry harder.

He then, crossed the street , but when he saw me crying, he slowly came to me and stared at me. His smile immediataly faded. I didn’t know why I acted like that when I saw him but I hugged him, I could feel that he was surprised but he slowly hugged me back. I put my head on his chest.

He then, held my hand and said:

“Come, I know a place you will like. You can tell me when we’ll reach that place.” He smiled softly.
