[CONTENTID1]Behind that Smile[/CONTENTID1]   [CONTENTID2]Sora shot up her bed, panting heavily. Her hands were uncontrollably shaking and her forehead was glistening with sweat in the moonlight, she could feel moist droplets trickling down the side of her face and below her neck.   Trying to regulate her breathing, Sora pulled up her knees to her chest and closed her eyes, still shaking as she buried her head in her knees and hugged her thighs; she kept breathing through as she rocked herself back and forth trying to calm herself down, just as she did every time she had that dream. Or nightmare, would be a better description.    It had been more frequent now, that dream. The one that had been haunting her for two years; she had first gotten it on her sixteenth birthday and had woken up crying and whimpering, paralysed with fear. What's worse, is that she stayed in the condition for a good few minutes and almost felt like dying, as if her limbs had been glued to the bed. It was only until Sora couldn't take it anymore that she let out a painful scream which alerted her parents and they had arrived to comfort her; regrettably, even after the couple had left due to Sora's assurance, she had laid in bed wide awake, too scared to sleep.   After that night, Sora had continuously started to have the dream,  but she had also gradually learnt to suppress her suffering by herself so that she would not tip off her parents. Sora would not feel comfortable talking to others about this, they would probably laugh it off and call her foolish, but not only because this, she seldom shared feelings with anybody at all. It made her feel bare as well as vulnerable, as apposed to her own feelings, Sora wanted to be emotionally strong; for herself and for others as she felt the need to do so. Weak people were only trampled on. She had seen it first hand, thus being driven by this belief since childhood and she would still gladly stand by it.  She was very unaware though, that trying to be strong by bottling up everything inside would only make her explode in the end.    Hence despite how Sora was feeling, she would always lightly smile to assure the people close to her that she was fine. Even if she was not. So in that sense Sora did not have a thing to worry about, because in her eyes, she was good at concealing her real self. Very good in fact, that no one would be able to guess that anything was wrong with her. Not even Minji, who was like a sister to her. Minji pictured Sora as a carefree girl with a cold exterior who did not bother about the world. Which was true to some extent, but Sora also had a set of problems that nobody knew of, who didn't? Only that some chose to share and others not, and Sora just happened to fall into the second category.   Eventually, but slowly Sora had managed to readjust her breathing and compose herself, although she was still in the same position. It made her feel protected in her own body whenever she felt limp and sluggish, it was a good remedy that worked each time she was scared. Turning her head sideways yet still on her knees, Sora looked at the bear alarm clock on her bedside table.   3:06 AM   It read, making Sora groan out loud. The girl was really tired, but even if she kept trying; she would not be able to sleep as she was too anxious. So she sighed and laid back on her bed in a star position, staring up at the ceiling. She started thinking back to the dream, it was strange and tragic. Although it might not have any link to her, it still shook her every time; her mother had once told her that dreams were not always what they appeared to be. Perhaps it was a sign of something that was to come in the future, and whatever it was; it scared her.   Unknowingly, tears started to stream from her eyes, sliding from her eyes and going into her hair, so Sora her stomach and buried her face in the pillow, quietly sobbing until she drifted off to sleep, only to jolt awake out of fright a while later.   She turned to her bedside table and
