Sehun’s POV

Three days

I haven’t seen her for three days now.

I miss her.

Argh! Damn it! Why did I even say that to her? Stupid Sehun, stupid, stupid.

Joong hyung hasn’t been texting me whenever Taeyeon leaves their house, so I’ve been missing her and walking to school alone. Yes, Hyun Joong hyung would always text me those information. But, I also somehow feel relieved when I can’t catch her because I definitely wouldn’t know how to face her. But, I really want to see her and apologize. Luhan hyung was right, I went overboard.

Jongin also won’t answer me properly. Whenever I asked him about Taeyeon, he would just say “She’s doing fine, attending school, no broken bones or whatsoever” then he would just leave me.

Why won’t I just go to her room then?

Aish, I can’t bring myself to face her after all I said. I messed up my hair and slammed my face on my table.

“Yah! You would not believe what I just saw” Chanyeol said shouting as soon as he entered the room. I stayed still

“What?” Beakhyun dryly asked

“I just saw Taeyeon and Jessica noona walking towards the cafeteria” my ears twitched as soon as I heard Taeyeon’s name

“What?! When?!” Baekhyun and Kyungsoo suddenly jolted. Ahhh, these damn fanboys

“Just now. It’s been awhile since I saw her walking on the hallway during breaks” Chanyeol said.

She hates crowded areas.

“Aish, I should have went with you” Baekhyun regretted

“How was she?” Kyungsoo asked

“She looked skinnier” Chanyeol said. Skinnier?! How come?! “But, despite that, she’s still so damn hot dude!” Chanyeol exclaimed. The three of them continued discussing and it started to piss me off

“for a small girl, she really has a nice ” Baekhyun said and that triggered me to flare up. But before I could do anything, Jongin already held Baekhyun by his collar

“yah, Byun Baekhyun! Don’t you dare make such vulgar comments about my sister. I appreciate your admiration but don’t make it sound like she’s some easy girl whose pride you can trample on. You don’t know anything about her. Jerks!” Jongin threatened

“calm down, Jongin” I tried to calm him down. Jongin just glared at me and left

I was not in the mood to eat nor to attend afternoon class so I just to the garden and tried to get some sleep to clear my head

‘Ah, great. Mr. Student-Council-Vice-President is skipping class’ I thought to myself but I think it would be better to be in here than to disrespect the teacher by not paying attention to his lesson

‘Taeyeon’s going to scold if she finds out’ I thought

Taeyeon… mianhe, I’m such a coward

Third person’s POV

Sehun fell asleep under a tree near the music room.

That same moment, Taeyeon decided to skip class and went to the music room that had a piano.

She started to play random tunes. And then she started to play “byul”. She sang along with her playing

Sehun’s POV

I woke up at the sound of the piano. It was “Byul”, one of Taeyeon’s favorite. I went near the music room and peaked through the window….

It’s her

It’s Taeyeon

Chanyeol was right, she does seem to be skinnier

Her eyes are puffy

Her complexion didn’t seem that good either

She’s singing

She has such beautiful voice that could melt anyone’s heart

I hear her sob in between her singing. It pains me to see her that way.

Her voice was already cracking while she was singing the last few lines

Right after she sang the last word, she broke down. Her tears flowed like a river.

Why?

Why are you crying Tae? 

Was it because of me?

I’m so sorry Tae, I’m such an .

I really wanted to rush to her side and hug but fear overpowered my will to do so

I feared that she would reject me

I feared that she would push me away

I feared that she would tell me to disappear

I just listened to her cry from the outside. She cried harder as time went by and I thought I would die. So, I gathered all my courage to go to her but I was too late. Jongin already came running to his noona, hugging her tight, and giving her the comfort that she needed.

Jongin’s POV

I ran around the campus trying to look for Tae-noona. Jessica noona texted a little while after lunch that my sister went missing after Jessica noona went to the comfort room.

I just thought of one place where she might be

The music room

And I was right, I saw her there. She was crying her heart out in the piano. I ran towards her and hugged her tight.

“noona” I called out as I her back

“Jo-jongina *sobs* it hurts so much *sobs* I love him so much *sobs* I’ve been trying to convey my feelings to him *sobs*but it didn’t reached him at all” Noona just continued saying what feelings she had that have been bottled up in her heart for the past few days

We sat there for minutes. She was wailing and I stayed silent hugging her tight. Eventually, she stopped crying, all I heard were her sobs and then it was silent. I tried to look at her face.

She fell asleep clinging on to me. I’ve never seen my noona this weak and its all thanks to that coward jerk Sehun. Damn that bastard.

I grabbed my phone and texted hyung to come pick Tae-noona up.

I lifted my noona up planning to bring her to the infirmary. On my way there, I saw Sehun.

“give her to me, I’ll bring her to the clinic” he motioned me to hand noona over

“I’ll never hand her over to you Sehun, no one has any right to hurt my noona, especially you” I said and walked passed by him

“Don’t you ever think of going near Tae-noona anymore, you don’t deserve her so just off”
