"Chaerin-ah, we'll be starting in a few minutes," a staff member said as Chaerin just finished putting on her earrings. "Good luck with your new comeback. I know it'll be wonderful."

"Arasso, unnie. And thank you," Chaerin smiled and bowed as a sign of gratefulness. The staff bowed and smiled back as she went to check other things, making sure everything would be ready for the performance. Chaerin turned as the staff unnie left the room and then went to check her other members, hoping that they would be almost done getting ready.

Bom was putting on her bracelets, Dara was fixing up her hat, and Minzy was putting on her coat. She was relieved to see that everyone was almost ready to go on stage. Everyone looked so determined and confident although she knew that deep in their hearts, the nervousness was always there. Especially that they were doing their first live performance of Missing You in Mnet Asian Music Awards, so more pressure right there, not to mention a bigger crowd too. Good thing that it was not a destructive kind of nervousness but the kind that makes you push even harder to be better. Of course they also worry about people's, especially the blackjack's reactions but they know that they are always gonna be there for them. They support them every step of the way which is why they love their blackjacks so much.

"Okay everyone, it's almost our time on stage," Chaerin said as the members formed a circle in the middle of the room, followed by all the staffs that helped them in getting ready. "Another comeback, another performance. This performance will be even more memorable because we are first performing it on MAMA 2013. We would like to say thank you, as a group, to all the people right here in this room for being here with us and helping us with this comeback stage. And to my members, let's just continue what we are doing. Let us enjoy this performance and do great. 2ne1," the members put their hands together at the center, sensing the cue, "NOLZA".

"Five minutes!"

The members were by the door, anticipating the time when they would be called on to the stage to perform but a certain someone was busy checking her phone for a message. Chaerin knew that her phone has to be left in her purse by now but she couldn't help but hold on to it until she gets that message. Everyone that mattered already sent in their good lucks. Well, except for one person. He probably forgot or something... she thought. They were also performing later on, especially him who was doing his solo single. But still, a text wouldn't hurt, would it? It would only take like 2 minutes to type and send it.

Just when she was about to put away her phone, finally giving up waiting, someone ran inside the room carrying a red rose and stood in front of her. "Chaerin-ssi, this is for you. Someone sent it," Chaerin took the rose and said thank you as the man left. Ignoring all the stares from everyone, especially the looks from her members, she searched the rose for a card but found nothing. Suddenly, her phone went off, indicating that a message was received.

From: Youngbae-oppa

Chaerin-ah, got my rose? Good luck with 2ne1's comeback. I know you girls would do great! Set the MAMA stage on fire!

Smiling, Chaerin replied back a thank you. She thought of how it was so sweet of him to send her a rose despite him probably being busy. The members just stared at her knowingly as she put away her phone and her rose, holding back all their questions until after their performance. Chaerin saw Bom winking at her while glancing at the rose and she couldn't help but laugh as Dara and Minzy more.

Finally, it was their time to perform on stage. And finally, she was ready to set the stage on fire. Or rather, set a calm fire instead since they were performing a mellow/ballad song. Nonetheless, they would set everyone on the edge of tears.

And they did.

"Youngbae, you're on your phone again," Jiyong commented as Youngbae was on his phone again when he glanced at him. "What's going on?"

Youngbae just shrugged and sent his message. "Just sending a good luck message."

"Yeah? Which group?"

"2ne1 of course," he answered as he patiently waited for a reply.

Jiyong looked at him weirdly, "You mean, you haven't said good luck to them yet? This is their first live performance for Missing You, y'know." Jiyong couldn't believe it and he just received a nod from the other guy which made him sigh in frustration. He was expecting an explaination from him yet none was heard. Youngbae and his damn memory problems, he thought.

The truth was that earlier on, Youngbae already sent good luck messages to 2ne1, but except for one member which he thought that sending a rose would be so much better. He just didn't know that having a single rose delivered would take so damn long but he took the risk. And when he got the text that said that his rose finally reached her hand, he immediately sent her a message to let her know it was from him. Then his phone vibrated...

From: Chaerin-ah

Ah oppa, I thought you already forgot about me. Well, I didn't expect the rose at all but thank you! It's almost our turn now. Thank you, again. :)

Youngbae smiled and finally put his phone away. His deed was done. Seungri, who was sitting next to him noticed that he was smiling while looking at his phone. "So hyung, who was that?" He went closer to his hyung and elbowed him lightly, trying to get him to spill it out. "Is it your girlfriend? Is she going to watch our performance?"

"None of your business, maknae," he smirked and Seungri just stared at him. When it seemed like he was not getting any further replies, he finally turned away, muttering about how he was envious of him. He wanted to be smiling at his phone too.

Daesung, who was beside him, looked at him as if he completely understands. "I know how you feel. I know it," he said. "I wanna look at my phone and smile too. I'm tired of looking at my phone and seeing YG's name or any of you guys' names. It's so tiring." These earned him dirty looks from Youngbae and Seungri. So their text messages were not welcome, huh. But on the otherhand, they would really pity Daesung if what he said was true.

"What in the world are you guys talking about?" Jiyong suddenly asked when he noticed the members talking, well it seemed more like complaining to him. Daesung was being loud again, together with the maknae.

"You wouldn't understand, jiyong-ah!" Daesung replied. "Don't ask anymore." Taeyang and Seungri began to laugh, completely understanding Daesung's hidden message.

Jiyong just looked confused but Top decided to finally enlighten him, "They said you wouldn't understand because you have so much girls around you." Jiyong was taken aback by Top's sudden attack that he was momentarily speechless. Blinking while processing...

"No, I don't! And look who's talking," came the reply after a while. Top just pretended to not hear anything like the rest of the other members. Does anybody listen to what I have to say anymore? he sighed.

Applauses and screams were still heard even after 2ne1 was done performing. They could still hear the faint sounds as they near their dressing room backstage. People were congratulating them along the way and they bowed and said their thank yous to each of them. They were all so relieved that their performance was done. It was so nerve-wracking but they enjoyed every second of it since they did their very best.

"Great job, everyone!" Chaerin said as they entered their room. More congratulations were heard and they again said their thank yous with smiles on their faces. They were so tired but the adrenaline has yet to fade away from their system. But right in that moment, there was only one thing Bom could think.

"So what are we eating today?" Bom asked as the others laughed.

"Wanna eat some korean barbeque??" Dara suggested as she looked at Bom, who eagerly nodded, to Minzy who also nodded, and then lastly to their leader who finally gave in and nodded. Bom immediately hugged Chaerin when she said yes, everyone knows how much she loves food.

"Ah, unnie. Arasso, let go of me already so we can go get food," Chaerin said and Bom let go of her. Dara and Minzy just shook their head at their eldest and then laughed when they saw her hurrying to grab her purse.

"Yah, what are you guys still doing there doing nothing?" She scolded the other ones who just laughed at her eagerness.

So off they went to eat some korean barbeque.

"So Chaerin-ah," Dara started as she put some chicken on the grill. "Who sent that rose?"

Chaerin sighed. Why did she even think they would just forget about it. She thought food would sway their minds but turned out it only worked for Bom and Minzy, and not Dara. "From my sister..." she tried.

"Yah, Chaerin-ah. Don't lie to us," Bom chastised her. "Harin would never do that." Opps, she picked the wrong person.

"So who was it, unnie?" Minzy asked before eating her newly cooked chicken, munching away.

Finally giving up, she said, "It was from Youngbae-oppa.." She checked their reactions. At first they all just nodded as if it was a normal thing. Bom kept eating, Dara continued to cook more beef, and Minzy was reaching for some vegetables. But then it sinked in and they all stopped to stare at her.

"Since when are you guys dating?" Bom asked. Everyone was looking at Chaerin, eagerly waiting for an answer.

However, Chaerin just shook her head. "Nope, we aren't. Why would you even think that, unnie?" Just because he gave her a rose doesn't mean that they are dating. He was just being supportive of them.

"Hey, it wasn't just me, okay? These two are probably thinking the same thing, too." And the two both nodded.

"We really aren't," suddenly her phone went off. She took it from her bag and saw a new message.

From: Youngbae

"Is that him?" Dara asked, eyeing her phone while slightly smiling.

"A-ani," Chaerin answered. How in the world... Is Dara-unnie a psychic? Wow, really.
