----★ of prompts & broken bits

“Unfortunately, the clock is ticking, the hours are going by. The past increases, the future recedes. Possibilities decreasing, regrets mounting.”

― Haruki Murakami, Dance Dance Dance

I found this in my list of prompts because Haruki Murakami writes some of the most emotionally trying stuff out there and if it wasn't for Neil Gaiman he could well be my favourite author and this was one of the good quotes that could possibly be applied to any story that attempts at a) time travelling b) departure c) life in general which opens up a lot of possibilities but then again, I would rather focus on the stories I have now (and are struggling to finish because after I type 500 words or so I collapse and go on Tumblr instead.)

I could have been planning to write a oneshot out of two lovers whose lives are like lines on a graph that intercept only once and turn separate ways  from there on (could have been the math getting to me there), but again, don't let my interpretation stop you from giving your characters a happy ending or a different life!
