Hating School; 2
Am I Supposed To Love You?"YAH! Lee Jinki! Get your furry bum over here. RIGHT NOW.!"
Neh, Umma. I'm innocent. Plus, I don't have a furry bum.
"Jinki-ah? Did you pack your underwear?"
Neh, Umma. I even packed an undershirt.
"Jinki-ah. You know that Umma and Appa loves you very much, but you need to improve your grades."
I thought that I was at the top of the class?
"You're failing, Jinki-ah. You need to study harder! Not play with your friends."
I don't "play." Umma, I "hang-out."
Welcome to my life.
--------------------------
"I hate school."
Lee Jinki stood in his room, full of distracting supplies and toys. Computer, telephone, cell phone. Why was he failing? His parents supported him everyday with his studies, taking time away from his daily life. He had wanted to choose a career in Music. Pursuing his dreams, wishes and thoughts.
But, he wasn't allowed. Everyday when he came home, he was locked in his room for hours, and hours. Trying to finish his math homework, that he hated. His parents weren't supportive. All they were supporting was their old dreams that they were too lazy to achieve. It was plain stupid. Stupidly stupid. All his other friends, were trying their hardest to pursue in Music, but as thought, they had bad parents too. Taemin was studying Biology. Heck! That boy was afraid for spiders and flys! Minho, was studying History. Minho HATED History more than anything, just like how I hated Math. Jonghyun was studying Math, just like me. And Key was studying English. Which wasn't a problem. He was good at everything!
I hate my life.
Too much of a common phrase. I said that to myself, every single day of my life.
To make up for my marks, I have to attend College.
College.
College.
Yeah, FML.
Packing for my dorm in College.
Freedom. It was all me.
Away from Umma and Appa.
I'm getting accepted into College, no matter what it takes.
And I mean it.
Slowly getting farther and farther from his thoughts, Jinki thought of all the ups of being in College. He gently pulled out the chair to his study desk, filled with incomplete homework and marks that were horribly, terrifying to him. He had excelled in every other subject, except for Math. Jinki took out his math textbook, a pencil, and a piece of paper.
This isn't that hard.
From heart, Jinki knew all of these questions, and their solutions.
I am so going to pass the College entrance exams and leave the house.
Could Jinki's life get any better?
Oh, boy. It's gonna get way better.
