Things went great. Awesome in fact.
Then it all went wrong.
After the confession, things couldn't get any better. Taeyang and Yuri would spend a lot of time together; be it spending time in the club, or just spending the entire noon basking under the sun, doing nothing but laughing at each other dumbly.
But all good things come to an end.
After a month, things started going towards the weird direction. Taeyang wasn't spending as much time with Yuri anymore. Not that she minded anyway. They always have this mutual agreement; people should have personal space, people including couples. Yuri thought he was just busy with his work. Besides, it's not like he didn't call her. They would spend hours talking on phone about almost everything under the sun or until Jiyong started grumbling in the background, forcing them to end the phone call with a laugh.
Then phone calls became less frequent, eventually it became a rarity.
Still, Yuri believed. She knew their love wouldn't be diminished. They were made for each other. She wasn't one of those clingy girlfriends and she trusted Taeyang completely.
"You guys stay outside first. Give us some time alone."
It had been a week since they last contacted each other. Yuri was beginning to find something amiss and was planning to dropby for a surprise visit/check at the club they frequented after paying a visit to her ex-colleagues in the hospital.
It turned out she received a bigger surprise.
Or should I say, shock.
She went to the hospital and instead of meeting her colleagues first, she saw a familiar silhouette. He seemed to be in a rush as he adjusted his cap to cover more than half of his face and weaved his way through people.
