Born with quite a boyish personality, Maemi Keiko was blessed to be born with a tinge of cuteness to her features. Although she was a klutz at times, she had a few qualities that made her stand out among her co-workers. She was probably one of the most hardworking and talented hair stylists you would ever find. Unfortunately for Keiko, her boss had the tendency to visit the shop she was working at whenever she had just screwed up. Just to make everything worse, Keiko's frenemy, Lewis Jesse was promoted to manager of the branch she has been working at for 4 years. It was a job she had been praying for day and night since the day she stepped foot into that saloon. Desperate for an escape from the disappointment, Keiko decided to waste away at a bar near her work place. One minute she was swaying around on the dance floor with a flushed face and a cup of liquor in her hands and the next she was in an unfamiliar bed. Her eyes flickered open slowly as she got used to the bright light streaming in through the crack of the curtain. As her eyes focused, she made out the image of someone's face right in front of her own. "Hello there." he said and gave Keiko a heart melting smile.
