Baekhyun’s new job was perfect, so was her new boss. Mrs. Choi had given her flattering remarks since the first day Baekhyun worked for her. She was, by far, the best Department Head Baekhyun had been working for, not to mention her generosity towards her employees who were commonly men. There were only few women at her new department, including Baekhyun and Mrs. Choi. So that was familiar for her to receive some flirty glances from her colleagues.

She convinced herself that she had moved on from Mr. Park a week ago. Baekhyun had been asking Luhan about her progress of getting rid of Park Chanyeol until she got tired of it. However, she would still compare the glances she received from other men with the one that Park Chanyeol possessed. There was no stare such intoxicating as Park Chanyeol’s stern glance that always made her get weak in the knees. She had never felt a tingling sensation running down her body when she heard other men’s voice. Their existence would never be as disturbing as Park Chanyeol and those facts irked her a lot.

He must have been desperately in love with Park Chanyeol in the way she had never imagined before. As much as the Fate despised her, she had never anticipated for Park Chanyeol’s sudden appearance in front of her door on that particular night.

There he was, standing in front of Baekhyun’s door in his drenched clothes. The woman could tell that he was probably shivering due to his condition. As much as Baekhyun wanted Park Chanyeol to retreat from her door, she didn’t have the heart to do that. Rushing to get a dry towel for Chanyeol, she escorted the man inside and sat him on her couch. Park Chanyeol was still shaking uncontrollably so Baekhyun got another dry towel and a comforter for him. She also her heater in case Chanyeol still couldn’t stop the shivering. The red-haired girl tried to neglect her suddenly racing heart as she scooted closer to Chanyeol in an attempt to rub his wet hair. The man stayed still until Baekhyun accidentally slipped which made her collapse on top of Chanyeol’s body.

Baekhyun reacted as if she were getting an electric shock. She abruptly retreated from Chanyeol while murmuring a weak ‘sorry’, hands trembling. She tried to gain her composure as the unwanted memories kept flowing out from her brain. “I-I’m sorry, sir,” Baekhyun covered before she started to sob uncontrollably. In no time Baekhyun was already on her way to the bedroom, leaving a confused Chanyeol in the middle of her guest room.

Baekhyun didn’t know for how long she had locked herself in her room when she heard knocks on the door. She was abandoning Chanyeol, her ex-boss, for sure and perhaps the latter would scold her again for her misbehavior. Instead, Baekhyun could only care less for the consequences. If she had to be fired for being rude to the Department Chief, she would accept it wholeheartedly.

Getting rid of the tears strain on her face, Baekhyun slowly went out of her room. Park Chanyeol was already towering over her, staring at her with a solemn face. She wanted to tell herself that perhaps Park Chanyeol was playing a trick on her like the last time, but she couldn’t help but stare at the man’s eyes. Those beautiful orbs hadn’t stopped looking at her with such longing since the beginning.

All of a sudden, Park Chanyeol pulled the woman’s petite body until she was trapped in a tight embrace, making her freeze at the same time. She squirmed when the realization hit her, but the man wouldn’t let go. “S-Sir, p-please let go off me.” Chanyeol could feel her body tremble against him, but he didn’t wanted to surrender. He had been a fool for giving Baekhyun up, so he would never forgive himself if he lost Baekhyun for the second time.

“Please, give me another chance,” he whispered quietly, holding Baekhyun like he held on for his dear life. “Byun Baekhyun, please give this man another chance. It’s only you, Baekhyun.” The woman didn’t want to believe her ears but Chanyeol’s pleas sounded so sincere that Baekhyun tried to hold back her tears as she heard the desperation in Chanyeol’s voice. He sounded so broken Baekhyun decided to give him another chance to win her heart.

She could hardly remember what had happened as Chanyeol’s plump lips collided with her thin ones. She had never been kissed by Chanyeol so this experience felt so new she nearly lost her breath. Chanyeol knew how to make Baekhyun surrender to him, with his mouth, his hands, his voice. He repeatedly murmured those magic words until Baekhyun forgot her surroundings. His lips made their way to Baekhyun’s collarbones that earned a broken moan from the girl. Their clothes soon were being thrown away before Chanyeol hurriedly claimed Baekhyun’s sweet lips again, working his way to Baekhyun’s bedroom.

Just like the first time Baekhyun heard Chanyeol’s voice, she couldn’t hold the shiver running down her spine when the man she loved murmured sweet nothings right to her ears. His eyes never left Baekhyun’s and she soon forgot her name as Chanyeol entered her little by little, slowly, tenderly. She was lost in her own pleasure under Chanyeol’s tender gaze when his hands once again worked wonders on Baekhyun’s body. Surely she had experienced this before, but they had never felt so intense like the one she did with this certain Park Chanyeol. Biting back her moan, Baekhyun finally reached her as soon as he felt Chanyeol’s warm seed filling her body.

Waking up in the morning had never been this hard. Baekhyun still couldn’t believe that Park Chanyeol was still there, sleeping peacefully on the other side of her bed. This was a new sight to her as she saw Chanyeol’s peaceful sleeping expression. She couldn’t help but to kiss his plump lips that had become Baekhyun’s new favorite. She witnessed Chanyeol’s eyelids fluttering open slowly before leaning forward to kiss the tip of his nose.

“I’ve ruined your upcoming marriage, haven’t I?” Baekhyun’s dainty fingers trailed Chanyeol’s jaw before circling her arms on Chanyeol’s neck. She could feel Chanyeol smiling in between kisses and the latter suddenly pulled Baekhyun into his embrace.

“Nope,” Baekhyun’s eyebrows furrowed—so, Chanyeol was still going to marry another woman? The red-haired girl suddenly felt a pang on her heart as she heard Chanyeol’s answer. “I’m going to propose for her to marry me after this.”

Baekhyun threw Chanyeol a confused look right before she followed Chanyeol’s gaze behind her. “Oh my—,” Baekhyun covered upon seeing the stuffed puppy Chanyeol had given her long time ago right then was holding a velvet box. Peeking from the inside was a beautiful ring that made Baekhyun bawl in no time. “Chanyeol,” she sobbed in happiness and relief while squeezing Chanyeol’s warm, still body in a tight hug.

“Will you marry me, Byun Baekhyun-ssi?”

Baekhyun couldn’t help her giggle even if she was still bawling.

“I do, I do, I do, Mr. Park!”***
