The rain is softly tapping against the window. It feels like the rain resembles Kris' tears. Kris slowly turns his head, he looks at the small figure laying in the white bed. “Why you? Why wasn't it me?” the eyes of Kris are getting teary and his sight is getting blurry, quickly he wipes his eyes, scared that Lay will be gone if he averted his eyes. The eyes of the boy that lies in the bed are closed, as they already were for days. All sorts of tubes go in and out of Lay's body. The familiar sound of Lay's heartbeat puts Kris at ease. He stands up. His legs are a bit wobbly, but he walks towards the bed. “Hey Lay, I don't know of you can hear me... But if you do, stay strong.... please..” Kris' voice cracks at the last word en he feels his cheeks getting wet....
