It was a peaceful morning, snow was falling and the cold air blew.
My sister and I were sitting in front of the fireplace with our grandfather who is telling us the story of the 12 kingdoms

"When the skies and the grounds were one with legends through their 12 forces, nurtured the tree of life. an eye of red force created evil which coveted the heart of the tree of life and the heart slowly grew dry, to retain and embrace the heart of the the tree of life the legends hereby divided the tree in half and hide each side, hence time is overturned and space turns askew the 12 forces divide into two creating two suns that look alike into two worlds that seems alike the legends shall now see the same sky but shall stand on different grounds, shall stand on the same ground but shall see different skies the day the sky be kept a single file before one sky in two worlds that seem alike, the legends will greet each other the day the red forces purify and the 12 forces reunite into one perfect root a new, World shall open up"

While our grandfather continues with his story it suddenly got dark, I stood up to go to the window and I look outside and I called my sister "Yah! Hani-ah! It's an eclipse!" And she excitedly leaped and said "Jinjja? Where?"
Our grandfather holds our shoulders "this is the Forces' sign of saying we need those 12 boys, did you know that whenever those boys are together there is always an eclipse?" Hani looks at our grandfather

and asks "why is that grandfather?" 
he laughs and say "it only means that it's peaceful" 
"But are they together now, Grandfather?" I ask
"I think that it is impossible for those 12 to be together." 
I raise an eyebrow asking "Why, Grandfather?"
"Well they were split into two worlds, in those two worlds they were split into 6 kingdoms each, that's why."
Then Hani asks "Can we go into those worlds Halabeoji?" And our grandfather nods "Of course! Anyone can enter Kore and Manda, even you" then she happily looked at me "You want go Eonni?" and I reply "Of Course I do! When?"

Our grandfather cuts our conversation and says "But you have to get permission from the king first" and Hani whined saying "The King? Jeongmal? I hate the king! He wouldn't even let us be warriors!" crossing her arms.
"Geureom! We'll ask the king tomorrow! Is that alright grandfather? We'll find those 12 kingdoms!" And our grandfather smiled and said "Sure! My Black Pearls! But for today stay here, it's the First Snow, you might get a cold, bring your jackets and your gloves, arasseo?" And we both happily answered "Ne! Grandfather!"

And we ran to our rooms to prepare our things. 

"Yah! Bring your jacket and gloves!" I reminded Hani "Ne Eonni!" She responded. 

Then we went to our bed and lay down but we couldn't sleep because of the excitement I turn the lamp out and closed my eyes and said "Jalja Hani-ah!"

The next day I woke up from my sister's shaking and shouting "Eonni eonni! It's the day! Kaja!!" 
I open my eyes and say "Jinjja?" I hopped out of bed and went straight to the bathroom to take a bath
"Lalalalalalala" I hummed as I applied shampoo to my hair "Yah! Eonni Palli!!" She shouted "Ne! I'm done Hani!" As I stepped out bathroom and went straight to our room

"What should I wear?" I wondered as I stared at our closet "ah! I know!" I said as I pulled out a shirt and a pair of pants and a jacket on top as I shouted "Yah! Hani-ah! Are you done? Palli!" And she comes bursting in through the door and went straight to the closet to look for her clothes

"Eonni! Help Me! I don't know what to wear" I giggled and went next to her and found some clothes for her. I held out a white long-sleeved dress for her and her eyes beamed "how about this? I used to wear this but it doesn't fit me anymore, want it?" She leaped and said "Yes! Yes! It's really pretty! Gomawo eonni!" As she wore it, it was knee-lenght but because it was cold I asked her to wear some stockings. "Kaja?" I asked her and she nodded. We went downstairs to look for our grandfather "Grandfather? Where are you?" But no one responded

We heard a knock come from the door we opened it and a guy in silver armor on a horse said "Greetings,  I am looking for Hani and Hana Lee, Ghepo's Black Pearls, are they here?" And I responded "that's us, wae?"

He went down from his horse bowed and said "The King wants to see you right away" we both look at each other and ask "Wae geurae?" But he just shrugged. "He said to bring him Ghepo's 2 Black Pearls, yourgrandfather is in the castle with the king" then we look at each other again and I said "He must've asked the king to let us go into Kore and Manda" and she just stared at me saying "Eotteokhaji?" I respond with a shrug outside our house was a large carriage that could fit both of us and we went inside to the kings palace

We enter it's large doors and we see our Grandfather stand next to the Kings throne and we shouted "Halabeoji!" as we ran towards him. The King steps down from his throne and says "I have called you here to let you know that you have been qualified to be warriors of the Tree of Life, which means you have to find the 12 forces in the 12 kingdoms in Kore and Manda we look at each other and say "Jinjja!" as we clapped each others hand and the king smile at us we both bow at him and say"Gomabseubnida" and he goes back up to his throne then Hani whispered "He's not Half-Bad" and I nod at her. the king was staring at us and said "You still think I'm bad?" and Hani"s eyes widened "NO Sir!" she exclaimed as she bowed, the King Laughs and says "No, It's Fine Hani, Hana Take Care of your younger sister I trust you, arasseo?" and I bowed and say "Yes I will!" as I gave him a big smile, I saw our grandfather smiling happily 

with determination I said "ARASSEO! HANI THIS IS THE START OF OUR GREAT ADVENTURE!" and she nods and responded "NE EONNI!" our grandfather hugs us tightly and whispers "Eat 3 times a day, dress warmly and be careful, especially ENJOY!" as his tears fell from his eyes, we started crying also as we said "Ne Halabeoji! Gomabseubnida! Saranghae!"
