It was year 2016. 28 year old singer, music producer and hallyu star G-Dragon and 26 years old model and actress Kiko Mizuhara announced the birth of their first daughter Kwon Miyumi.

Rumors about the secret relationship of the two had been circulating since 2010. They didn’t confirm nor deny, until six years ago half of Korea and Japan’s population were very much shocked to hear the news that the Japanese supermodel and the Korean superstar were expecting their first child but what surprised them even more was the latter’s statement.

“Kiko and I were not dating anymore but it won’t hinder us from raising our child together. I know it sounds absurd but we will do everything to be the best parents for Yumi.”

Ehhh? Everyone’s expecting an engagement even a grandiose wedding but they were answered by this. They weren’t a couple but she got pregnant? They’re not together but they will raise the child together? Seriously, how much more complicated can this get?
