"Death is not something that people wish to go through but it’s part of life; no one should watch someone die in front of their very eyes. At the age of 8 both of my parents were killed in a car accident because of a drunk driver on the highway.  I sat in the back of the car after we had been hit and watched my parents die in front of my own eyes; I couldn’t do anything about it – I tried desperately to pull the glass out of their chest but whatever I did didn’t work. They were free of the pain that killed them and sat motionless in the front seat until the ambulances arrived. Ever since that day I’ve felt pain in my heart and can never forget the tragedy that I went through."
