Disclaimer: I do not own the Korean idol characters, as much as I would like to, just the original characters I created. In this story, celebrities are how I portrayed them in my imagination. If it is not to your liking, simply don’t read it and kindly leave this page. Criticism is always welcomed; I like blunt ones with unintentional harshness.
Foreword
"You're not planning to burn those pictures... are you?" He asked me.
I gave him a strange look, "Of course not."
"Then what are you doing?" He pressed on, curiosity at its peak. The picture frames landed softly on my bed, I reached for one and placed a photo in its empty space. I continued this until all the frames had pictures inside the middle.
"Earth to SangHee!" He waved his hand in front of my face.
I looked at the confused boy.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
A small smile played on the edges of my lips, I was better than okay. For the first time, I finally felt at peace with myself. Thanks to this boy and his brothers here.
"I don't know. You tell me."
He took one of the leftover photos on my desk, taking in the father's and mother's grim expression while the child's uneasiness stared up at him.
"Is this you?"
"Duh. Why would I have someone elses' family photo?" I retorted.
"I thought you wanted to forget your parents, why are you suddenly hanging up their pictures? You already forgave them?"
An amused smile crossed my features.
"Weren't you the one that said to me 'forgiving is not forgetting, its letting go of the hurt'? To put it simply, I'm letting go of the past to move on."
