Yoona was multi tasking trying to put her mascara while driving, when a biker zoom past her way.

AAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCKKKKKK…..

“Oh crap! I run over someone…”

Yoona hurriedly steps out of her car. She sees a girl all curled up in a ball, whimpering like a little puppy… (could you blame the girl? She almost got run over)

“Omo miss?! Are you alright?!”

The moment she sees the long, dark haired girl, with those cheeks she could just pinch looking back at her with those scared puppy eyes…

Yoona knew that there is nothing more she wanted to do but to protect this girl…

“I…I…I…I…I…I” The poor girl quivered.


“Miss?” Yoona asks again…


Yoona was surprise cause even if she could see the girl’s legs shaking, the girl still manages to get up shrugging off what had happen.

“Don’t worry about me…”


“I can’t do that, I almost hit you… let me take you to the hospital at least…”


“No… haha… I’m ok… just drive safely next time…”


“Oh… ahhh…”


Yoona was amazed that even if the girl was picking up her bike, she was still grinning as if nothing happened.


“Oh God… I didn’t even know her name.”

I have been seeing cute girl Yuri around campus lately… but everytime I try to move closer, it’s like a scare her or something… Maybe she thinks I’ll run over her again…

Every night I just tell myself to try harder… The opportunity is always there, I just couldn’t grab it in time… Like right now, here she is lining up for lunch… And what am I doing? Just waiting for something to happen… I need to act NOW…

Ok… now I’m a feet away from her, what will I say?

“Hi unnie”


“I’m going to sue you”


How do you have a comeback for that? “Oh, ummm… well… ahhh…”


“Oh JK. JK. I’m not…”


Yoona couldn’t help breathe a sigh of relief. “Oh… you scared me there, unnie…”


“S-sorry… I’m ahhhh Yuri…”


“I know…”


Of course I do, as the girl I have a crush on…


“I’m Yoona…”


“Oh, I didn’t know that… when I see you I just say, oh that’s the girl that almost run me over… Kekekeke….”


Oh no… is that the only thing she could remember me by? “I’m so sorry about that unnie”

“Well, I’m alive so it’s alright… so, ummm… what classes are you taking?”


“Well… mostly basics, I got algebra, Basic English, History and Biochem”


“Oh you got History?”


“Yup I do… And I’m horrible at memorizing, I’m more of a math person myself.”


“Well… I took it last semester and if you want I could help you borrow my notes.”


“You will?”


“Of course. What are unnies for?”


Unnie? Is that the only thing she could see me as? Her little dongsaeng?

Yuri unnie almost stumbled on me as I open the door. OMO! She was so close I almost kiss her… Spazzing like crazy right now.

“Oh hey Yoona… Oh… yeah… here’s my notes”


Yuri hands Yoona her notes.


“Thank you so much unnie…”


Yuri shrugs. “Anything for a dongsaeng… keke…”


Oh Gosh… that’s that word again. Dongsaeng… This is my chance just ask her out, invite her for coffee as a thank you for letting me borrow her notes.

But as Yoona was about to say something, Yuri beats her to it.


“I better go”


“Oh okay… thanks again unnie…” Yoona, you idiot, you’re too slow…


Yuri smiles happily. “Sure”


Yoona forces a smile as she close the door, but the moment the door closes, the smile on Yoona’s face fades away.

“ARGH! C’MON YOONA!!! Step up your game…”

Yoona growls and swings her door open and who’s still standing there but this cutie..

“Oh unnie” She’s still here… quick as her out.


“Oh hey…I was just about to go.”


Damn it, not again… “Oh okay…”


“Bye again…”


“Bye…”


Well if I couldn’t ask her out at least I’ll just watch her walk, that’s like the creepiest thing ever. 

Yoona could see Yuri yelping cutely everytime she looks back and sees Yoona still watching her.


“If unnie looks back again, it means she likes me too.”

Yoona waited and it only took about 5 seconds until Yuri slowly turns her way. It was something so small, probably not even real but Yoona was going to take it. And she could feel her face about to break with how big her smile is.

Yoona’s heart sank as she sees Yuri walking away…

Yoona is dragging her feet towards her class…

“Seo… what am I doing wrong?”

"Oh, Yoong… it’ll be okay…” Seohyun tries to cheer her bestfriend.

“YOH SEO!!!”

“Sooyoung unnie”

Yoona looks up to see Seohyun’s cousin and her blonde friend walking towards them..

“Hey… guess what cousin, me and cool Hyo here is going to have a party…”

“A singles party” Hyo corrected her.

“Oh yeah… a singles party for Valentine's… since it’s you know… we..”

“have no dates for Valentines?” Seohyun continues…

Sooyoung and Hyoyeon face turned sour “No… single”

“Oh okay…. Sorry…”

“So, if you two aren’t doing anything for Valentine's, why don’t you come to the party?

“Yeah it’ll be fun, I’ll be there, Hyo, Sunny, Yuri…”

And like a shot of life, Yoona woke up to the sound of Yuri’s name. “Wait… Yuri?”

“Yup, Kwon Yul… Well, I haven’t ask her yet but I’m sure she’s dateless”

“Yup… I mean c’mon who on Earth would ask that idiot out on a date?”

“A much bigger idiot?”

BWAHAHAHAHA…

Seohyun looks compassionately at Yoona…

“I mean no offense, Yuri is my bestfriend but only a ******* will fall for that cry baby”

And I’m the world’s biggest *******…

“So, ummm you two going?”

Cafeteria is suddenly becoming Yoona’s favorite place on Earth. Seeing how she and Yuri are close to each other again.

“Hey your broccoli is greener than mine!”

“OMO! That’s not right!”


A few laughs, a few talks and Yoona didn’t know how she and Yuri got to the point where she was confessing…

“Oh… good point… so, wait, you mean to tell me that this person that you like didn’t ask you out?”

Yoona’s face shows a tint of pink in embarrassment… “No…” she says softly…

“Pffft… what an idiot” Yuri chuckles…

And Yoona blushes some more after hearing Yuri just calling herself an idiot.“Yes… a big one”

“That person must be retarded, huh?”

Oh gosh… she’s so freaking cute…“Ummmm… I don’t think so…”


“Of course they are!” Yuri frowns those puppy dog eyes “Man, if I met that person you’re talking about, I would like SMACK! The back of thier head with something really, really hard and tell them… You idiot! Yoona likes you!”

“No unnie…” Yoona doubt that Yuri would like to smack herself “You don’t have to do that”

“Oh but I will. I will grab my fork and stick it in their eyes… I would be like, do I have to poke your eyes to make you see that Yoona likes you?”

Stop Yuri...

"So, tell me Yoong, how does this idiot look like?” Yuri asks with those cute puppy eyes still frowning…

“Well… She got these cheeks that I would love to pinch everytime”

Yoona sees Yuri pinching her cheeks.

“Ummm… what else?”

“Ummm… She got long, dark hair…”

Yoona’s heart is about to jump off her chest as she sees Yuri running her hand through her long, dark hair.

“She’s wearing purple right now. I think I made myself obvious on that one, right unnie?”

Yoona’s eyes were lock on Yuri’s hand, wishing she could finally hold it, Now that she have told Yuri.


“Hey Yoona… Yuri unnie”


Yoona couldn’t help but groan as they got by Seohyun.

“Ummm… I better leave you two alone”


Wait… what on Earth just happened?


“Omo, Yoong, did you finally ask her out?” Seohyun eagerly asks she sees Yuri walking away fast.


“What? No…” Yoona sighs heavily, Yuri had walk away again before she gets the chance to ask... Now all Yoona is left to do is wished that Yuri figure it out.

Unfortunately… Yuri didn’t figure it out… And now the girl was mourning for the girl that she never had, while her bestfriend stuff with chips as she tries to console her.

“Oh c’mon dude, what on Earth made you think that you have a chance with someone like Yoona?” Sooyoung did her own version of comforting…

“I didn’t!” Yuri raises her face off the pillow. “But as long as she stayed single I felt like there is always going to be a bit of hope…” Yuri sighs heavily “But now that I know that she likes someone, the hope just went poof…”

“Awww… it’s ok dude, there is still others there”

“I only want Yoona” Yuri mumbles…

“But Yoona doesn’t want you”

“WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!” Yuri bawls as she tries to suffocate herself with her pillow.

“That’s how life is for not so good looking people…”

“Who you calling not so good looking people?”

My point is Yul, if you’re not so good looking, you have to excel in something else to make that someone like you, but if you’re beautiful… you could be the biggest biyatch and people would still kiss the ground you walk on.”

Yuri raises her brow, she didn’t know where Sooyoung is getting at. “Your point?”

“You have to put on more effort if you want someone, ahem ahem… Yoona to like you”

“But she already like Seo…” Perfect, intelligent, beautiful robotic Seo. “You know what, if I can’t be happy then at least I should let the woman that I love be happy…”

“Awww dude…” Sooyoung coos “Let me go grab a bucket so I could puke”

“Shut up! This is what I’m going to do because it’s valentine's I will be a cupid to Yoona and Seo’s love.”

The chips almost fell out of Sooyoung’s mouth as she shakes her head in disbelief “You’re just getting yourself hurt you know”

“Well… I already lost Yoona so how much painful could it get?”

Yuri just mutters a sorry to every person whose face she accidentally hit with her backpack. She didn’t let the curses slow her down, she is going to sit by Yoona.

“Hey Yoong…”

“Unnie hi…” Yoona always puts her bag on one side and books on the other side, just in case this opportunity comes where Yuri would decide to sit by her.

“Someone sitting here?”

“No…”

“Could I?”

Yoona nods and was about to take her bag but Yuri shakes her head and takes her bag “That’s ok, I could hold your bag.” Yuri gingerly puts the bag in her lap.

Yoona turns away, hoping Yuri wouldn’t notice her blush.

“IwishI’mthebag” Yoona mumbles jealously as she sees her bag sitting comfortably on Yuri’s lap.

“Wae Yoona? You said something?”

“Oh nothing…”

The two turns towards the stage. And both couldn’t help but admit that even among the dozen members of the chorus, there is just something about Seohyun that could make her stand out.

“Oh… isn’t Seo pretty?”

Yoona have heard people say that and she always agreed, but how come it felt different when Yuri was the one who said it? “Yeah, she is”

“Ahhh…. Beautiful and talented.”

“Is that the kind of girl that you like unnie?”

“M-me?” Yuri likes Seohyun but Yuri loves Yoona. “Yup. What’s not to like?”

Yoona stares out on the stage, hoping Yuri wouldn’t realize that she just rip her heart out of her chest. “Yeah… I guess so.”

“You know what Yoona, if I have a chance to be with someone like Seo, I would grab it. I will not let somebody else take away the most amazing girl that came in my life.”

“Then why don’t you go ahead and ask her out?” Yoona snaps back.

Yuri scratches her head, this isn’t how she plan her cupid ways to go.

“If you think she is so amazing unnie, then go ahead, ask her out for valentine's day. I heard she’s still available for that day.”

“W-why won’t you?”

“Why would I? Since you’re obviously interested in her”

But before Yuri could reply, Yoona already yanks her bag off Yuri’s lap and walks out. Leaving Yuri to wonder…

Singles party and while every person in the room tries to sneak a chance to spend the valentine's with Yoona, Yoona only wanted one.

“Wait… so, you’re saying that unnie likes me?”

“Yeah… I think she does”

“B-but…”

“Well… I wish I didn’t react like that, Yuri probably think I’m such an idiot now, but truth is, if she likes someone at least it’s you.”

“OW!!!!!”

“Yuri unnie why would you do that?!”

Seohyun rubs the back of her head and the two girls glares at Yuri who just smacks the back of Seohyun’s head.

“Seo! I know robots are in capable of emotion but how blind can you be?! Can’t you see, Yoona likes you!”

“Wait… what?”

Yuri takes both Yoona and Seohyun’s hand ready to link the two together.

“The long dark hair, those chubby cheeks, those long conversations…”

“Unnie what are you talking about?”

“It’s you Seo… you’re the one that Yoona wants.” Yuri pulls Yoona’s hand and made it hold Seo’s “So make the YoonHyun loyalists happy and make this real.”

Seohyun look like Yuri just explained to her how babies were made…

“I have no idea what you just said unnie”

This was it for Yoona, first Yuri acted like she likes Seo and now she’s pushing her and Seo together?

“Unnie could you do me a favor?”

“Wae?”

“Could you smack YOURSELF HARD and stick your eyes out with a fork?”

“Whoah! Why would I do that?”

“Because if that’s the only way for you to realize that I like you then so be it.”

The whole room was instantly quiet.

Wae, Yoona likes Yul?

“You’re the idiot unnie”

“Idiot?”

“You’re the idiot that couldn’t figure out that its you that I like…”

But before Yuri could asks Yoona already storm out of the party…

“Dude… what the hell?! Go chase her!”

“Yeah… you can’t just let the perfect girl go! Run after her Yul”

Yuri is being shoved and pushed by her friends to go win Yoona.

“I will… OW! OW! Stop pushing me..”

Yuri chases Yoona into the playground.

“Yoona?”

Yoona sighs heavily as Yuri sits at the opposite swing.

“Happy Valen-“ Yuri checks her watch and saw the time it was 12:11… She was 11… no, make that 12 minutes late… “Happy February 15”

Yoona scoffs “You’re one day late…”

“Well… the whole world probably just ended spending valentine's but for you, Im Yoona… it’s just starting…”

“What?”

Yuri stood up and went to kneel in front of Yoona, handing Yoona flowers that look similarly like the ones in the park. “Let everybody have their february 14, from this day on, I’ll make you your own valentines day… February 15… When everyone is done celebrating, you’ll make those other girls jealous because I’ll still be here hugging you tighter, kissing you and loving you longer…And when they’ll ask you how you spend valentine's day, you’ll just say what?”

Yoona looks confusedly at Yuri “Wait… what do you mean?”

Yuri sits up to kiss Yoona on the forehead before pressing her forehead against Yoona’s “Tell them, my girlfriend don't need an occasion to make me feel love, she makes all 365 days a Valentine's Day."


And this is why... Yoona fell for Kwon Yuri...


Yuri puckers her lips trying to lean closer to give Yoona a kiss on the cheek, but when Yoona turns around, Yuri quickly backs away, scratching her head to hide her embarrassment.

Her lips quickly curve into a wide grin as she felt those soft lips pressed against her cheek. Yoona moves closer laying her lips on Yuri’s hair.

“Do I have to do everything in this relationship?” Yoona whispers teasingly.

And Yuri answers Yoona with a sweet kiss on the lips, both girls smiling through their kiss.

“No…” Yuri kisses Yoona’s forehead, before she kisses the tip of Yoona’s nose “I’ll take it from here.”

Those were the last words spoken that night, as the two kiss the night away…

And every lover in the world could celebrate and remember February 14, Yuri and Yoona didn’t care. In fact they like it this way, that they could spend Valentine's Day one day longer or in their case probably forever.
