Jaejoong found himself almost resenting his new friend. It's really pathetic now that he thought about it. Then again, he decided to take that back since Changmin took something away from him. 'Up until a month ago, Jung Yunho was all over me. Now, he ignores me and spends as much time with Chang ah as possible. How unfair.' Changmin noticed his new friend's sudden dark mood. "Hey hyung, are you alright? Your fists are clenched, and you look angry." It was an innocent enough question, but come on. When are the intentions of a maknae ever completely pure? On the inside, Changmin was smirking and laughing at how well this plan is working. Jaejoong smiled. "Sorry, I was thinking about how Yoochun and Junsu ditched me to do something together this morning. No big deal." It wasn't a lie, the two had indeed cancelled on him in favor of going to see some action movie that he himself never wanted to see. Otherwise, Jaejoong would be at Junsu's house playing video games like they always did when they got a day off. Changmin shrugged and grinned when the food came out. His new mission was to see how fast he could scarf his lunch down. Jaejoong couldn't help but laugh at the younger's eagerness. "Slow down Chang ah! You'll choke for sure; you weren't kidding when you said that you really loved food!" The younger simply ignored the man, with the exception of a small nod, and continued eating. Jaejoong ate his considerably slower than Changmin. Said man finished very quickly and smiled. "Ahhh, nothing like a delicious meal to make a great day even better!" The great part was him referring to how successful the plan was so far, but Jaejoong didn't know that. He figured that the great part was the kiss at SM earlier. Just then, Changmin's phone rang. The older looked down and scowled but immediately blushed and felt bad when Changmin said that it was just his mother. 'Oh God, what does this woman want now?' Changmin thought, panicking. "Hello?" "YAH! SHIM CHANGMIN!!!!" Said man pulled the phone away from his ear to keep from going deaf. In all honesty, he should've seen it coming. His mom only called when he was in trouble. She'd otherwise visit him personally. He slowly put the phone back to his ear. "Yes mother?" He heard a huff on the other end. That meant he was really in for it. "Don't you 'yes mother?' me young man!! When were you going to tell me that you and Yunho were dating?" How had she even found out about that? He didn't want to ask. He excused himself and went to the back of the cafe. Jaejoong decided to follow. He was curious, and he got lucky. Changmin had the phone on speaker. "Mom, I'm sorry ok? We had been dating for about a month. Honestly, this past month has been so hectic with me moving in with him and dealing with training different people, we haven't even thought about telling anyone." Mrs. Shim just sighed. "Well it would've been nice to hear it from you or Yunho instead of Amber." Amber? Changmin facepalmed. 'Of course it'd be Amber who told her.' He thought bitterly. "Wait, son did I just hear you say that you moved in with him?" He heard his mother say. He nodded and felt stupid when he realized that she couldn't see him. "Yes mother, I live with him." Mrs. Shim squealed and he imagined her jumping up and down. "Oh honey that's great! Is Yunho treating you right?" He heard a rustle behind him. 'I knew hyung would follow me out. Good thing I decided to keep pretending with mom too.' He went back to his conversation and spoke as if he was in a dream. "Yes he does. He treats me so well, and he even said he loved me yesterday! Mom, I think he's the one! All this time just being friends... I love him mom!" She noticed the dreamy tone and squealed again. Jaejoong frowned when he heard that same tone. He wasn't so confused anymore. He knows now that he misses Yunho's advances toward him. 'I guess it's too late now. One date to see how things went wouldn't have been so bad, but I refused and pushed him into Changmin's arms.' He heard Changmin hang up the phone and call Yunho. As the two laughed and joked around, Jaejoong got an idea. He couldn't stay any longer when Yunho complimented Changmin's lunch and said how much he liked the kiss. Jaejoong left and called someone. "Hello? Kim Jaejoong, is that you?" Jaejoong smiled at his friend. "Yes it is. Long time no see. How's China?" "It's good to be back, but I miss you and my other friends." Jaejoong laughed. "Yeah, we miss you too. Speaking of friends, remember that favor you owe me?" The voice laughed on the other end. "Of course. What do you need? It's about time you cashed that favor in!" Jaejoong smiled. "How fast can you get to Korea?"
