Minseok was never one to share or discuss his feelings. He somewhat enjoyed the comfort and reassuring warmth of knowing no-one would ever treat him differently. He felt secure. He felt undoubtly protected. He learned not to grow attached to people. It was better that way. Easier, in fact. 'What good can arise from becoming close to someone, only to be torn apart soon afterwards?'. From an early age, he was labelled 'gifted and talented'. A bright future ahead of him, destined for great things, his parents sent him to a boarding school, not far from the north of South Korea, where he was to study and be accepted in Seoul University. His family were edging with expectation. But he wasn't. He never wanted to grow up so quickly. He never wanted to emerse himself in acedemic pressure. He never wanted to be 'gifted'. He just wanted to live. He wanted to live a long happy life, surrounded by the one's he loved. He wanted someone to confide in his uttermost and deepest thoughts, regardless of how dark or untouched they may be. He yearned for empathy. He yearned for a painkiller. He yearned for love.  And his only love had and always would remain to be for

Winter.

DECEMBER 7TH,  Hello, everyone. After long, painful intervals of overflowing story ideas, but not enough confidence to persue them, I've finally finished my first Xiuhan fic, 'Our Four Winters'. This story is actually inspired by my own adoration and love for Winter. It really is elegantly beautiful to me. I hope you will be able to empathise with me with these powerful feelings of affection for this pretty season.
