Everyone feels lonely at some point of their lives, don't they?
Shakespeare said 'curiosity killed the cat', but honestly, loneliness can kill humans a million times worse.
You might find it absolutely annoying when someone enters your life and knocks you down, but love can find its way to you too when that stranger stretches out his/her hand and pulls you up and he/she becomes a 'special someone'.
Perhaps you've gotten used to loneliness as your companion, but life is always more than 'just you', isn't it?

Just to tell you a bit more about this fic:
1. It is chaptered, but I haven't finished writing yet so I'm not sure how long it exactly will be. I'm aiming for around 25 chapters though.
2. The main couples are KYUMIN and EUNHAE while the side couples are HANCHUL, KANGTEUK and YEWOOK. I'm trying to make more scenes with the side couples too so don't worry! ^^ Also, I need your suggestions whether to make SIBUM a couple so dear readers! You know what to do ;)
3. It is set in Paran High School and Sapphire Cafe in Korea. The characters here are aged differently and some have a different gender from real life: Sungmin (girl), Kyuhyun, Donghae (girl), Eunhyuk, Ryeowook (girl), Heechul (girl), Leeteuk (girl) and Kangin are 18 years old and studying in Year 12; Yesung, Hankyung, Siwon and Kibum (girl) are 19 years old and studying in Year 13.
By the way, English is not my 1st language so there might be some grammatical or spelling mistakes, but I'm trying my best so please be kind! >w<

Foreword
Alone
May 2011
Sungmin rests her head against the bus window. She watches the raindrops rolling down the cold glass while listening to the soft music from her iPod.
The last thing she wants to do is to go home.
Home? Is that still considered a home when I’m the only one there?
She sighs for the millionth time that day.
It’s just a house. Just a house full of nothingness.
She sighs again and looks out the window. She takes out her umbrella and leaves the bus. Staring at her ‘home’, she wonders why a place can be so different without life inside. It seems so cold, so still and ever so depressing.
She has been feeling like this every day for the past month.
She walks slowly to the front door, almost afraid to open it, as if the silence would engulf her. When she finally enters the house, she immediately switches on all the lights.
There, absolute brightness. Yet, the brighter the house, the more emptiness it seems to expose.
Sungmin cannot take it anymore. She runs upstairs and bursts into her room, throws herself on the bed and buries her head in the pillow. As she is imagining the rest of her life like this, tears of frustration and hopelessness flows uncontrollably from her eyes. She cries as if there were no tomorrow – she wishes there won’t be one anyway.
She listens to the music created by the raindrops tapping on the window and the time ticking by. She doesn’t know when does she finally calm down or fall asleep; she only knows that something dwells on her mind for the entire evening, just like all the other nights she has spent for the past 30 days.
So this is what parentless feels like.

I'm sorry that this introduction seems quite angsty D: I'm just trying to write more about Sungmin's sadness so the happiness will be emphasized in the later parts of the story. Sorry to disappoint any of you... I promise the story will get more upbeat! :) Don't forget to comment and subscribe as I'll decide whether to continue writing depending on your responses!
