“Look, look!~” I shouted at my parents, showing them an ugly handwritten letter. I stood in front of them, trying to get their attention. It was my first time seeing them together on christmas. Dad patted my shoulder, smiled and walked out. He was still supposed to work though it was holiday. Mom gave me a silent hug and left as well. They all seemed busy, having to work all the time. I wanted to give them couple bracelets - which I had made myself - but they left without noticing. I wanted to cry, but dad had told me not to. He told me to face the real world. Furthermore my tears didn’t want to slide down my big, pinky cheeks. Even though I kept struggling for a warm, loving hug - nothing changed. I was only five back then. It was eighteen years ago, but even now I’m still struggling for that one thing.
