"Friends?"
True Feelings
«Dear Diary, today is the worst day since I came to this school.
As you know, I'd made new friends and even a crush(?) with one of them, but today... I have to give up on that.
I guess that we'll be just you and me...
Prepare yourself.
I'll probably come back with a lot of tears.»
I wore my uniform slowly after I wrote those words in my diary, I wasn't sure how that day would develop, but the only things that came to my mind were Dahee and the boys, special attention to Jimin. At the kitchen, my mother and father were already in their usual seats waiting for me to start eating my toast and my passion fruit juice.
I looked outside through the white window, just like the previous day, everything was black and white, I didn't know why it was like that, I thought it was because I fell, but I should be alright by that hour so... why was my vision still tricking me?
I decided not to pay attention anymore to that matter and looked to my 'coloured' parents, my mother was talking on the phone with a confused frown and my father was reading the news on his red iPad. That moment, my phone vibrated in my pocket. When I woke the screen up, Dahee's name appeared, she sent me a message. With trembling fingers, I touched the screen to open it.
[Morning! How are you feeling today? Will you come with us to school?]
"Dad, can you take me to school today?" I asked him a few seconds after reading the message.
"Sure, sweetie." My father replied a little bit confused. "You usually go with your friends, why the change?"
"They won't wait for me today." I lied.
"Alright then, we leave in ten." He seemed like he didn't believe my words, but he remained quiet.
That moment, my mother extended her arm in my direction in order to give me the phone.
"Hello?" I asked the person on the other end of the line.
"Miss Lee Eunsoo," An old man voice answered. "It's Principal Jung of Gool Hwang High School."
"Good morning, sir." He was my school's principal, I wondered what did he need from me.
"Listen, I have to discuss something with you as soon as possible," He said. "Could you come to my office when you arrive at school?"
"Of course, sir." I politely accepted.
"Thank you, that's all I wanted to tell you, sorry for the interruption."
"It was nothing."
I gave the phone to my mother when he hung up the call.
What does the principal want to discuss with me? I didn't make anything suspicious for the school's development.
"What have you done?" My father asked while chuckling.
"Nothing, I promise!" I answered.
I wish that whatever he wants to talk about it's something to solve my problem.

When I arrived at school, the first person that I saw was that girl with wavy black hair from the previous day, I really wanted to avoid her, but the cards weren't on my side.
"You came alone." The girl smirked as she laid her eyes on me.
"You care about that much?" I replied coldly.
"Yes, I care," She said. "Stay away from them like a good girl and we won't meet again."
"Do you think you can scare me with that?" I was ready to beat her up, not even thinking twice.
"Yes, I'm the oppas fan club president... and you?" She looked at me with disdain. "You're nothing compared to me."
"Oh really?" A girl with straight brown hair approached us. She was wearing a white uniform with some details in black, a red bow and on her left sleeve, there was a black piece of clothing with some red numbers. Perhaps she was from the student council, but that didn't make sense.
"You're the 'oppas fan club president' huh?" She copied the girl's voice. "Well, I'm an Elite" She smiled evilly. "Compared to me, who are you?"
The other girl expression seemed like she was slapped. Frustrated, she walked away from us.
"That is always sayin' that, just ignore her." She smiled.

"Miss Lee Eunsoo." The principal greeted me. "Sit down, please."
I was inside the principal's office, it had a very intense aura. The old-styled furniture, the portraits from the previous principals around the big picture of the school's founder, the red wine coloured walls and the artificial plants made that room the most strict and tense room. On the principal's desk, there was a mountain of documents, some pencils, pens, some coffee stains here and there.
"Well, two days ago, I was looking to your profile, especially to your marks from last year," He explained. "You had very high scores."
"Yes." I nodded in confusion.
"That's why I have an offer to you." He continued. "You see, in this school, we have a different system to those students whose grades are higher than the average. They are in a private class." He paused. "You had very good marks and your previous headteacher said that you were always surpassing the bests marks." He took a gulp of his coffee. "Would you like to join the Elite Students?
I didn't answer immediately.
Is that the answer to my problem? Join the Elite Students class? Well, at least, I don't have Dahee there since she's their friend... it'll be hard to ignore them if I stay in class A.
"I accept your offer, sir." I accepted after minutes of long silence.
"Good,
