Reminiscing on the past is said to be dangerous as it brings back bittersweet memories. It is something that should be forgotten and left untouched once it is gone. It is something one should not dwell on as it can easily cloud one's judgement. In order to prevent the past from taking over one's life, one must prevent memories from seeping in. To some, the past can be hurtful and bring nothing but sad memories, but to others it is the key to the happiness they will never get back. One's past is the key to one's present and future, and one must be willing to accept everything about you in order to become yours for all eternity.
