"Do you really think you can keep on avoiding him forever?" Chunji asked while handing her a glass of water. The ringing paused for a second just to begin the second later. Jieun looked at him and then at the phone, the screen flashing the name she wanted to forget so much.    "Then do I have to pick it up??" She snapped, both of them obviously knowing the answer.    "Touché." Her bestfriend shrugged while taking a seat on the couch next to her.  It had been a month since she had broken up with Luhan and it would be lie to say she hadn't, not even once, wanted to go back to him. It had been painful for the both of them, but she knew that she had left him for the best, and that was the thought which had kept her from running back into his warm arms.     "Jieun-ah...maybe you should really talk to him. It's been a month and he keeps on trying to get in touch with you...maybe he has something to say..." Chunji assumed. He was aware of the fact that she had been crying herself to sleep every night, and despite her trying to hide it with make-up, he had seen her red puffy eyes in the morning and it worried him. Maybe she hadn't done the right thing, maybe she should have given Luhan another chance, despite having given him a lot already.    "I don't know oppa...this is harder than I thought it would be..." Jieun sighed leaning her head on his firm shoulder. Chunji wrapped his arm around her waist and caressed her side, trying somehow to comfort her. It angered him that someone could hurt Jieun so much, it angered him that someone could take away Jieun's happiness and it angered him that he had actually let his bestfriend date such a jerk, he should have known he wasn't anything good.    "Chanee-ah, you know...sometimes I think that it would be better if I fell for you..." Jieun admitted circling her arms around his torso. Chunji stiffened, her words echoing in his ears. "Back then.." She continued "before starting to date Luhan, I was in love with you. No one could be better than you for me, there was this feeling that told me you were the one for me, but I knew that I couldn't ruin our friendship like that, you were too important, I couldn't loose you. When you started dating Soojin, I was even more convinced about giving you up and so, when Luhan asked me to be his girlfriend, I accepted. And then...my feelings changed...sometimes I regret it, maybe I shouldn't have let my heart waver so easily..." Jieun trailed off, not knowing that her bestfriend was completely scared and anxious inside. He didn't know she still had been feeling that something between them, it scared him yet it raised his hopes up. But he knew that he couldn't do it, he couldn't repeat the same mistake.   "Y-yah, I didn't scare you, did I?" Jieun asked, worried that what she had admitted would have screwed their friendship. She could feel his grip tightening around her waist and his eyes were closed, as if he was trying to calm himself down.    "Are you alright?" She questioned once again, and felt extremely relieved when he smiled at her reassuringly.    "What do you think? Of course I'm scared! I don't want a pig like you to fall for me!" Chunji joked as Jieun's jaw dropped.   "YAH! I've just confessed my young unrequited love and you dare to tease me! You little!" Jieun hissed outraged, her fists landing with as much force as she could afford, on his arms. The poor boy -still chuckling- winced in pain while rubbing his bruised arms.    "Psh, what do you hide in those little fists of yours?! Geez, that actually hurt" He sneered earning a satisfied smirk from the girl, who triumphantly pumped her fist against her chest.    "Now you'll think twice before calling someone a pig after their confession." The boy was going to say something else, when the doorbell rang. He exchanged looks with Jieun, receiving a shake of head from her. They both knew who it was and, despite feeling sorry, they couldn't open the door.    "Jieun-ah! Please, open the door! We need to talk!" The familiar voice shouted. Jieun fisted her hair, tightly shutting her eyes, almost every time he had showed up, she had been tempted to run in front of the door and open it for him. She couldn't deny the fact that she had and still missed him, no matter how many times he had betrayed her.  She suddenly felt emptiness next to her, where Chunji should have been, and when she opened her eyes she couldn't help but let out a gasp. What the hell was he doing??   "Come back here!! What are you doing??!!" She whispered loudly seeing as Chunji was heading towards the front door. Her bestfriend shook his head, this time he wouldn't have let her run away.    "I'm sorry..." He breathed out only to earn a glare from Jieun, who nonetheless stood up, closing her eyes to calm herself down and concentrate. It's time Jieun. Don't get fooled once again. When she reluctantly nodded, Chunji stretched out his hand to twist the handle, the door painfully slowly creeping open.
