C H A P T E R  1:
A Hottie’s Friend is Always another Hottie

Jamie never thought she’d give a care about her brother Kris, lesser than he did about her. Well, not until the guy brought back a tall, dark, and charming home with him after his usual evening cycling routine around Han River.

     The first thing Jamie wondered as she peeked from the top of the stairs is, “Does my brother even have friends?” And the second thought was fully devoted to the dark-haired gorgeous that had just stepped into her house and made her drooling like a canine bulldog.

     When Kris greeted the parents that were sitting in the living room, Jamie took a step back up the stairs, forgetting all her thoughts on getting her can of diet cola in the refrigerator, and marched straight into her room and snatched her pink Samsung Galaxy from her bed. Her fingers were tapping the screen wildly, till the line on the other end finally answered her call.

     “Jamie?” a voice spoke, seeming surprised with the sudden call. “What’re you— You know you’re not supposed to call at this hour. I’m on Daycare duty.”

     Jamie had made a deal not to call in the evening due to the babysitting job, but she couldn’t care less of the baby wails in the background.

     “But this is a Boy-scope alert,” said Jamie firmly as she closed her door shut and stood in front of it. She could tell that her best friend for ages was gaping at the phone.
