From the outside looking in it seems that the concept of the entertainment industry was simple.
Either you were a big business man controlling one of the most profitable puppets in the world...
... or you were the profitable puppet being watched and controlled by the big business man.
But at the end of the day it was a win-win situation: both parties would be paid.
Now what happens when the person from the outside steps into the picture?
After a horrible accident resulting to the death of one of the most important CEO's in the Korean music industry, a college student is appointed the task of taking over the role of CEO. When this news breaks out. both the public and the artists under SM Entertainment express both uncertainty and fear over the future of the new CEO, but they aren't the only ones to worry. With no experience of maintaining a business, Heo Sung Hee realizes that the entertainment industry is not as easy as it seems. Will this young CEO be able to take control of the chaos that is SM Entertainment or will the artists under the label be able to break free from its control and take back what freedom was theirs originally?

Foreword
The Girl Group
Before SME's CEO Kim Young Min had died, there was a plan to implement a new girl group into the KPOP industry. This group was to follow the success of past groups such as S.E.S., CSJH the grace, SNSD, and f(x). Now that Heo Sung Hee has taken over the company it is her responsibility to make these girls as successful as their sunbaes.
CYGNUS, or the genus name for swans, are seven girls who desire to become known as effortlessly cool idols, instead of debuting under an extremely cute or y image. They are hoping to inspire others to believe that one does not have to change themselves to please others but instead rely on their talent. Although they are trained to sing, rap and dance, they are focused to work hard while maintaining elegance and grace to their actions.
With this change in management, will these girls successfully debut and hold up to the expectations of the past groups or will they fail and sing their swan song before they know it?

I know I know I know! I just started here and have another on-going fic but I was too tempted! I promise to be good and manage everything! :)
Anyways this is my first apply fic story. Although the focus of the story is based on the whole entertainment company form the perspective of a normal girl, I will also be focusing on the development of a girl group. Again I know, very typical. But I promise it'll be special.
