[BREAKING NEWS] SM Entertainment's CEO, Kim Young Min, dies in a fatal car accident

It has been reported that SM Entertainment's CEO, Kim Young Min (41), has died through a multiple vehicle accident nearby the Han River.

On July 19th, at approximately 2:00 AM, Yeongdeungpo police responded to an emergency 119 call from nearby Yanghwa Bridge, an eight-lane bridge that crosses over the Han River. Ironically this is the same location where Big Bang's Daesung had his latest accident.

Arriving at the scene police had found 4 vehicles meshed together, as if they were a fury of metal chaos. One of the vehicles has been identified as Kim's car (Lexus lfa); the other vehicles include a delivery motorcycle, a taxi cab and a sports car (Audi r8).

As of late it appears that the only major casualty is Kim himself, the other victims either had minor to no injuries.

Neither founder of SM Entertainment, Lee Soo Man, nor the company has responded for comment on the situation.

[UPDATE] Investigations of SME's CEO reveal startling news about the accident

Following the news of SM Entertainment CEO Kim Young Min's death, it has been revealed that the accident was caused by a chain of events ending with one of the suspects missing.

Through investigations it seems that prior to Kim's death there had been a collision among the four other vehicles found at the site of the accident. Kim was about 200 meters away from the beginning of the collision where a speeding Audi r8 had failed to miss a taxi cab. When the two vehicles collided it appears that neither Kim nor the delivery motorcycle in front of Kim could not avoid the chaos coming towards them. It is assumed that Kim suffered a lot of pain upon the direct impact of the two vehicles but died at Yeongdeungpo Hospital. Fortunately for the other people involved they had received minor injuries.

It has not been determined that the driver behind the Audi r8 was under the influence as they had fled the scene before the police had arrived. There has been an alert placed for the missing driver in the city of Seoul.

There still has been no comment placed by SM Entertainment about this issue.

[BREAKING NEWS] SM Entertainment's Lee Soo Man finally comments about current situation, reveals future plans for company

3 days after the death of SME's CEO Kim Young MIn, founder and former CEO Lee Soo Man finally comments.

In a recent interview by Newsen, he states, "The sudden death of Kim Young Min is a tragedy to everyone in the entertainment business. Since 1999 he has been a major contributor to the company's success and was one of the only people trusted to lead the company after my departure."

Apparently, Lee Soo Man was present upon Kim's death at Yeongdeungpo's hospital. He explains the reason why he didn't release any comments about the situation was to maintain some control within such chaos. Also he reveals that in the time between the death and the interview, SME was preparing the company for such sudden change in management. Lee Soo Man states," Without a proper CEO for a company of this magnitude, everyone will suffer. In the time that we had we searched for the right person to take control of this company and currently they have been contacted.

When asked about the identity of the future CEO, Soo Man simply replied, "This person has not responded yet and so their identity will remain confidential. They fulfilled all the credentials to be CEO and was personally requested by Young Min before his passing. We hold a lot of hope and support for their decision."

Until the candidate of SM's future CEO responds, it seems that Lee Soo Man will temporarily take control of all company plans. 

Kim Young Min was too talented and young to die so soon, and everyone knew that, especially Heo Sung Hee.

Finishing the last english-based article, the young college student wiped the tears away from her face and turned her head to face a picture of her beloved uncle. Although it would have been easier for her to read a korean-based article, she was told by her uncle to challenge herself by reading in different languages, as it would only help her and her pursuit to be a writer. After struggling a bit to adapt to the unknown, she was glad that he had suggested it as she became more confident in the foreign language. She knew that he would be right but there is always that bit of doubt that would prevent her to see the genius behind the madness called her uncle.

It was sad to know that her only uncle and major inspiration was the only major causality in the accident but she couldn't knew it couldn't be helped it was fate. Everything had to happen for a reason. No matter what she would be told she knew that there was no way of escaping the undesirable so she wasn't necessarily mad at the fact that he was gone but she wasn't exactly happy to know that he was off in a better place. Now at the wake of her beloved uncle's death all Sung Hee could do was do the right thing and pay her respect to him.

Standing up from her chair she walked towards the portrait of her uncle. Smiling at his face she couldn't help but remember the last article she read and wonder what would happen to SM Entertainment now that he was gone. Next to Lee Soo Man, she knew that her uncle was equally if not more devoted to the company than anything else, and he made it obvious to everyone that he felt that way. It seems that there would be no other person to live up to such expectations after him but it couldn't be helped, there needed to be someone to head such a successful business. 

Turning away from the portrait she returned to the area where her uncle's body laid, enclosed inside a simple glazed wooden casket. Bowing her head in preparation of prayer she felt someone tapping her shoulder. Looking up she stared at a familiar face. Her eyes widened and she quickly gave a proper 90 degree bow.

Lee Soo Man gave a small chuckle, "Sung Hee-ah. It's time for us to talk."

[RUMOR] SM Entertainment's future CEO is... ?

Since the recent news about current (or should we say former) SM Entertainment CEO Kim Young Min's death and founder and former CEO of SME Lee Soo Man's statement about the future of the company everyone, from celebrities to other companies, have been wondering who is next in line to take over this prestigious company.

With no details to pinpoint the identity of the potential CEO we turn to the clever and crafty netzens to uncover this mystery. With many uncovered scandals under their belt there is a huge possibility that we may be able to know the identity sooner than we think, and we might just have!

After a couple days of stalking the SME building, some netzens claim to have found a potential candidate for the role of future SME CEO. The girl, pictured above, has been seen in and out of the building, often accompanied with the one and only Lee Soo Man. It has been noted by some SM trainee-netzens that LSM is not one to stroll through the hallways of the SME building except for important circumstances.

From the picture above and the descriptions given it seems that this person is a college student or soon to be college graduate, but either way is almost too young to be able to handle a business of this proportion; it also seems that she must have a connection to either KYM or LSM to be close to such power in the first place. Currently our reliable k-netzens are hard at work trying to uncover the identity of this girl.

[RUMOR] Before death of SME CEO there were plans made for a new girl group?

Following the news of the possible identity of SM Entertainment's new CEO, netzens have uncovered another possibility amongst the chaos of controversy for the major label.

Prior to former SME CEO Kim Young Min's death there was plans to start another group for the company. With the success of current girl groups SNSD, f(x) and recently CSJH the Grace: Dana & Sunday, it was proposed that the SM would release another group within the next few months.

Under the name CYGNUS, the technical name for the swan, there would have been 7 new faces adding onto the roster of successful names by SM. With an average training experience of 4 years, these girls would have brought a refreshing but mysterious concept current girl groups have apparently lacked to emphasize these days. Currently there is no information of the actual members or their outcome of debuting due to the recent tragedy for SM.

A picture may have a 1000 words but who knew that her own picture was less than that.

Lee Soo Man stared at the photograph in his hand. It was of a beautiful little girl holding an ice cream cone, happily smiling at the camera, with no care in the world. Right across from him was the same girl from the photograph, much older and well aware of the world, staring blankly at him.

His most trusted employee, but more importantly her uncle, had recently died in (what he had considered) an almost predictable accident. It seemed too good to see his creation, SM Entertainment, flourish in success that something terrible must had to happen sometime, and indeed it did, he just didn't expect it would happen to someone this close to him. Now before him, was a photograph and a confused girl awaiting her fate.

"Soo Man-sshi..." the girl cautiously spoke and he lifted his eyes away from the photo, "will you explain to me what you plan for me to do? You have showed me the whole company and introduced me to almost everyone in the world and yet you wouldn't tell me a thing."

LSM simply chuckled and began thinking back to the days of her uncle's beginning at the company, almost asking the same thing in the same tone.

'I guess she is right for this job.' he silently thought.

Without a word he handed the photograph to Sung Hee, then anticipated her reaction. It didn't take too long for her eyes to widen and look at him with even more confusion in her face.

"Turn the photo around and please tell me what it says." he sternly commanded. Sung Hee obeyed and grazed through the familiar messy hand writing before speaking.

Sung Hee couldn't help but begin to tear up when she quickly read her uncle's message behind the ancient, but apparently prized, photo for her. "To Soo Man hyung.." she began. LSM nodded in approval for her to continue and she nodded back.

"To Soo Man hyung..." she began again, "This is Heo Sung Hee, she is my only and favorite niece. If there would be anytime that I would not be able to continue in my position as CEO, I truly believe and entrust her to continue our legacy in success for SM Entertainment. Whether she is as young as this photograph or as old as the ahjumma across the stress I hope you consider her to overtake operations at SM. She has never let me down and I'm sure she won't let anyone else down e-either." she finished slightly choking on the last word, truly touched by her uncles intentions, though equally confused on why he would pick her or have THE Lee Soo Man consider this request.

"So Heo Sung Hee, do you accept this responsibility?"
