Elena Isobelle Gilbert (Go Hye Mi from the drama. I just changed her name and most of her character) - The beautiful, talented, and genius heiress of many companies, Elena is known to all as the richest person in the world. Although she puts on a tough girl act, past memories have left her mentally scarred, and she needs guidance. After her parents died when she was four - to an unknown reason that is only know by herself, and Taecyeon, Elena is wise for her age, and she is excedingly smart. Her crazy overacheiving parents sent her to first grade when she ly one, and she is five years above of everyone. Once she finished high school though at age 12, she decided to pursue online college for 2 years and enter high school again as a normal student, wanting to experience normal high school life. In love with K-POP, Koreans, and all things Korean, she is more than eager to host 4 very talented Korean Exchange Students at her house. Amongst all of this, she is managing many of her parents companies.

Ok Taecyeon -  A childhood friend of Go Hye Mi as he constantly tries to help her since he has had a small crush on her   since they first met, which grows into a one-sided love. He tries to get Hye Mi to remember their childhood memories, which she has tried to forget after being so traumatized at such a young age. He excels primarily at dancing and rapping. He is in a love quadrangle with Elena Gilbert, Sam Dong, and ater performing with Baek Hee at the music showcase, he debuts by himself. After debuting, he realizes that he is in love with Elena and that she is who he wishes to be with. However, Hye Mi is angry at Jin Guk because he made his debut as a solo artist when he promised that he would debut with her on the same stage. Jin Guk is also trying to deal with the fact that his father will not accept Jin Guk for who he is and is trying to force him to study in the United States. 

Song Sam Dong - Song Sam Dong is a country bumpkin who auditions after he sees the face of the girl, whos house the winners will be staying at. He has an exceptional musical aptitude, able to play chords without knowing what chords are, but he is naive and has a hearing problem. Sam Dong also has a one-sided love for Elena. He complies to a make over because it's Elena who askes and gives him one. He transforms into a "hottie" and he gets a haircut that resembles Jin Guk's, he eventually cuts it even shorter and adds an earring. 

Yoon Baek Hee - Baek Hee is Elena Gilberts former bestfriend. She is a Korean who moved with her parents to America after being sponsered by a company that Elena's parents owned. She is devastated when her parents reveal to her that they wish she was as talented, likeable, and as pretty as Elena. She is surprised and confused when she discovers that Elena is apologetic for her actions and wants to be friends again. She has a crush on Jin Guk and is jealous of Elena, who not only hold his attentions, but also seems to excel at everything, or just do a lot better than herself.

Kim Pil Sook - After a lot of convincing from her long time pen-pal overseas - Elena Gilbert, Pil Suk first auditions to become an exchange student. She appears first as a girl wearing a sushi mascot costume during the auditions.  She is a girl with a beautiful voice but is overweight. She has a major crush on Jason, and leaves a lollipop on his locker every day. She eventually confesses to him, but he rejects her, saying that he only likes her as a friend. With Elena's help, she vows to lose 30 kilograms in 200 days while, he is away from school. She succeeds, and upon his return Jason becomes attracted to the new, skinnier, Pil Suk. The two then express their feelings for each other after both misunderstand and become jealous. After fighting and bickering with one another, they start to open up to one another.

Jason - Jason is an exchange student who excels mainly in dancing but is also good at singing. He is courteous and has good manners, leading to misunderstandings with Pil Suk, who believes that he does this because he likes her. He originally does not like Pil Suk as much as she likes him but after his debut, their relationship is unclear. After Pil Suk tells him that he appears to have no goals in life, he realizes what his feelings are and he starts working hard so Pil Suk will like him again. He eventually begins to realize he likes Pil Suk. At first he is shy about showing his affection towards Pil Suk, but after becoming jealous he finally admits to loving Pil Suk.

Jeremy Edward (15 years old) - Intelligent, but not nearly as much as Elena, he is her long time best friend. Only older than her by a few months, the two best friends are literally, inseparable. He is always there for Elena.

Jacob ‘Jake’ Edward (17 years old): The oldest, of the brothers, he is the most protective of Elena. He loves her dearly, but doesn’t realize how much he does………..

Justin & Jason Edward (Both 16 years old): Next to Jake, these two are the second oldest. They are twins, and pranksters while they’re at it. Nevertheless, they care for Elena like she’s their own sister.

Sophie & Robert Edward: The loving parent of the 4 Edwards boys, and they have practically raised Elena. Sophie was Elena’s moms best friend, and Robert was Elena’s dads best friend. They were devastated when the two died, and did their best to raise Elena, since they were here legal guardians after the death.
