A box. Baekhyun didn't expect everything to fit so well in it, but it had. The memories felt overwhelming at first, but now the felt lacking. He was sure there had to more left. More of Chanyeol. More of their time together. But he'd dug through the last of the draws in his apartment, and pulled the cushions from the couch. The top shelves of the kitchen that only Chanyeol could reach had been examined from a perch on a chair, and the bottom of the wardrobe had been rummaged through. Everything had been pulled from its place, and all that sat neatly in box was what was left.

Ten things.

Ten memories.

Ten pieces of Chanyeol.

When it came down to proof that the other had existed.

Carefully Baekhyun placed the box on his bed, folding down to his knees as he began to take them out one by one. He picked up the pen from his bedside as he wrote a list of the box contents. 

1. Movie tickets.
2. A photograph.
3. A watch.
4. Cat ear headbands.
5. A packet of blue bandaids.
6. A map of the world.
7. A coin-sized turtle statue.
8. A pair of shoes.
9. A cloth napkin.
10. A hospital bracelet.

​He folded the list up, and tucked it into the envelope with the letter he wrote. It had taken him all night, but he hoped it would mean something. That it said everything. Each of the ten items was placed back into the box, and Baekhyun exhaled the breath he'd been holding for too long. Slowly he climbed on his feet, picking up the envelope and placing it on the top of the box's contents. That was it. All. Entire. Baekhyun reached over for the lid, pushing it down firmly before he began to scribbled the address.
