PUT ON SOME RED LIPSTICK— run by athirah, or better known as jackharries. ive been designing for about 2 years, on & off, and my journey of designing has been blessed with so many people and friends who support me and my crazy, impromptu ideas! so id like to thank all subscriber, commenter, upvoter, or anyone and everyone who has been following and supporting my work regardless of how stupid it actually is.

i really like cats, cookies and unicorns. music interest includes taylor swift, ed sheeran, fall out boy, the neighbourhood, alt. j, bruno mars, green day, simple plan and others that i cant seem to think of right now. i dont follow kpop much anymore, but my heart will always have a place for the YG family, yes including WINNER, iKON (and the other two members of iKON that failed to make it). if you happen to fangirl about taylor swift on a daily basis as well though, follow me on my fanaccount twitter for her: @qtieswift :)
well, for background on graphics, uh, as mentioned, i started designing about late 2012 perhaps? i remember when aff graphic community was conquered by the traditional blends of graphics, then tumblr, and now the dA & sp inspired graphics. in between i kinda realised that i dont want to fit in with any of these styles. dont get me wrong, i am in love with all graphics that are beautifully and well crafted and i show my appreciation to all of those which i manage to find and admire, but i wanted to be different. through my old graphic mentors, gabbie, plus my two other super helpful friends who often gave me constructive critiscm, ranee and afrina, i followed their advice of always experimenting and doing things that i find comfortable and pretty. ive never stopped experimenting, though people have told me i have an unique style, which even though i deny most of the time, i take pride in. i dont see myself as good or popular or whatever, it's just that the feeling of satisfaction washes over me when someone compliments my work, and i feel that my effort has not gone to waste. and if youre a new beginner designer who wants to try their hand at designing, a piece of advice: never be afraid to go out of your comfort zone. experiment, seek feedback, talk to different designers, find out how different each and every designer is when they make graphics. that will really help in your growth.
