Darkness. That is what I can see. Seems that my eyes are playing tricks with me but as I blink my eyes, nothing change, I am indeed surrounded by darkness. It is embracing my cold body in this unknown world. I am running, aiming for a light, maybe looking for a door or end that may lead me to the outside world, to the world where I used to live, World with light, I don't know but whatever is the reason why I am running I hope to have it in the end. Only if there is an end to this unending darkness that is now suffocating me.

And as an answered prayer, there it is, I can clearly see a door. A door that sparks and gives light to that little space it is holding. I reach my hand to it. Wishing for the door to come closer to me, to help me get away from this world and to lead me to the world I wish to be.

As I reach for its knob, a voice was heard from the darkness, a boy, calling my name, asking something that my mind can't register.

Could it be? That all this time that person is with me, on my side and this darkness fails me to see that person.

But as I twist the knob, the voice fades, what if like me he is also looking for the light, what if like me he is also cold and feeling alone, I wanted to help him but the light is pulling me, asking me to come near him, to open the door and to leave this world full of darkness.  That's when I realize that I am already opening the door, letting the light inside it blind me. I wanted to step back but a hand reaches out and holds my hand.
