Life was like a calm body of water for Dara, normal, ordinary. The day she turned 18, however, it seems as if life has morphed into the crashing, unsettling waves of the ocean. Haunted by strange dreams, reunited with an old heirloom, and confused by the growing distance between her best friend and her, Dara finds herself discovering a secret that binds her friends and HIM together.

Kwon Jiyong. The boy she can’t help but gravitate towards; the boy who ignores her and acts as if Dara was coated by an invisible repellent.

Their secret leads the group of youths to set out on a journey, where Dara discovers more about herself, friends she thought she knew everything about, and those who are blessed by the elements.
