Chapter 2 - Troublesome

Jaeyun pouted. Sure she wanted to spend some alone time with him, but this was not what she had in mind. At least the atmosphere could have been a bit more...romantic?

“Seonsaengnim,” Jaeyun drawled, “I’m getting sleepy. I want to go home.” She knitted her brows in frustration as she glanced at her teacher, hoping he would notice how upset she was.

Kris looked up  from his reading. With a slightly exasperated sigh, he responded, “Well, you should’ve paid more attention in class. This is punishment for your inability to focus.”

“Hnn,” Jaeyun mewed cutely, “at least the punishment could’ve been a bit more fun. Ssam, let’s do something fun, shall we?”

Rubbing his temples, Kris answered curtly, “No.”

“Well, it’s not my fault that your voice can literally put anyone to sleep.”

Kris did not answer.

Jaeyun glared.

“Finish up the worksheet, then you can go home.”

Jaeyun gave a little “humph” but continued working anyway.

Turning back to his book, Kris muttered softly to himself, “How troublesome.”
