A year ago Emily's only remaining family member is murdered. Now feeling abandoned and depressed to her own devices she lives life the only way she knows how to. By working at the gas stop during graveyard shifts and sleeping the day away. She doesn’t spend any of her earning besides her basic food and shelter and hygiene products. She stores her cash in a box that lays close to her bed, hoping to one day donate the money to local charities. On the day of her sister’s anniversary she has her first encounter with an alien. Her life would never be the same as secrets start to unravel themselves, one by one, beginning with the truth of her sister’s death. As Kris and his friends use Emily to try and help them find the Light of Orion, feelings unknown to the two begin to develop. They soon find themselves helpless and utterly fallen for each other. But will this love last? Or will their separate galaxies keep them apart once they find the light of Orion?
