Foreword
" Oh Shinhyeeee!" a smiling face shouted out from behind. Shinhye rolled her eyes and looked back, "What do you want Yonghwa?"
"Come on Shinhye, don't be so negative! Let's hangout a little?" Yonghwa asked hopefully, patting her on the back. She shrugged him off, "No. Leave me alone, I'm busy." Yonghwa nodded his head, understanding she probably had to take care of her studies. "Okay then, see you later Shinhye!" He ran off and looked back. He would get her to look back one day, no matter what it took. He liked her ever since middle school, and never paid attention to the other girls that crushed on him. Shinhye was the only one he saw.
"I'm home." Yonghwa slipped his white shoes off and walked in the door. His father held an iron belt layered with spikes up in the air, ready to whip his sister who had been slouched on the shiny kitchen tiles. "Stop Dad!" Yonghwa's sister, Seohyun, dried her tears and ran to her room. "Dad, what's going on?" His father tightened his grip on the belt and glared at Yonghwa,"What do you think son?! Your sister has been acting up ever since she started high school. You're next." Yonghwa was cornered to the kitchen sink and glanced around the counter, his heart pounding out his ears. The knife. He turned back to his dad who now had a gun along with his whip. Yonghwa went for the knife and nearly sliced his thumb from panicking. He stared at his reflection in the knife. I can't! I can't hurt my dad! Mom wouldn't have wanted this... But if I don't...
