Foreword

"Aish, I can barely see." Myungsoo rubbed his eyes and sat on the couch. He looked over to Jiwon who was writing in her notebook. Myungsoo scoffed, "Yah, you're really trying to spread the word about your amnesia? I told you, no one's going to know about your past. You already have tried numerous times."

Jiwon sighed, "Yeah, I know." She continued writing, ignoring him as he rambled on about her determination.

"Just forget about it Jiwon. Your past might even be something you wont want to remember." He dug into his grey bag and put a plant pot in next to her on the table.

"Whats that," Jiwon asked.

"Now your interested. It's called a middlemist red flower. There's supposed to be only two in the entire world which grow in New Zealand, yet I have one."

She smiled,"Wah, really? That's cool. Wait... How did you get?"

"A man gave it to me one day when he saw me trying to steal oranges from a street wagon. He handed it to me, and just walked away." She put the flower pot onto the shelf and backed up.

"It looks pretty up there. So you've been keeping this for a decade?"

"Yup. I thought it'd be a good time to give it to you." Jiwon quickly brought the pot back down and gave it to him.

"No its yours. Sorry, I was just saying it looked nice up there," she refused.

"Saengil," Myungsoo said, handing it back to her. She grinned, "Aw, thank you for remembering my birthday Myungsoo. It's not mine though, it's ours." Myungsoo nodded casually and turned away as she continued writing notes in her book. That flower... Isnt mine, fool. Its yours and you dont even remember. I wonder how it looks now. I cant see if it's wilted, or if its still bright red. I cant even see if you are smiling or crying. Damn these eyes... Myungsoo rubbed them roughly and headed out to his job.

"Im going to work," he informed.

Myungsoo POV-

"Aw oppa, you're so cute!" I smiled as I poured the group of girls glasses of wine. It felt good to be complimented by someone, at last. I could hear the girls backing away from the counter.

"Oppa, pour it in the cup, not on the counter." I wiped the cold puddle up and apologized to them. It's because of the jerk from that day, when I was a child... that my eyesight is fading and that Jiwon has amnesia. I will make Him pay for what he has done to us...
