The patient. Nana suffers from an illness that affects her breathing. She has been in the hospital for a very long time because she is unable to leave in case something bad happens. She can't walk very well either, so she is kept in a wheelchair.

The doctor. Lizzy has been working at the hospital since Nana arrived and has been looking after her. She is the only one that Nana can talk to as she doesn't trust the other doctors.
