No one's POV: 

Time flew by, the next thing Tao knew he was into his second month, November was rolling in and he would have to start Christmas shopping early before people began panic buying. 
"What did you get Kris then?" Sehun asked and Tao frowned 
"What do you mean?"
"His birthday is coming up on the sixth" Sehun replied 
"He never told me that" Tao said and Sehun sighed. 

"Because he doesn't like celebrating it or getting presents" he muttered to which Tao's eyes widened 
"Really?" he asked and Sehun nodded
"Really"
"Why not?" Tao asked, he couldn't get it through his head that Kris didn't like celebrating his birthday... everybody had to celebrate their birthday one way or another!
"I'm not so sure myself, I guess I never asked him" Sehun replied. 

"Well then he has to celebrate it" Tao said 
"So what? You're going to force him to?" Sehun asked and Tao nodded 
"Good luck with that" Sehun said as he shook his head 
"Trust me, his birthday is not for a few days so I have time to plan the whole day" Tao replied 
"Like I said; good luck with that" Sehun said and walked out of the kitchen whilst Kris walked in and paused when he saw Tao quickly turn away from him and start to clean up. 

"What were you two talking about?" he asked 
"Nothing important" Tao replied and shrugged his shoulders 
"Oh really?" Kris asked as Tao turned to face him and pointed a finger at him 
"You mister, you're being nosy" he replied and turned back around to get back to what he was doing 
"I'm not being nosy" Kris muttered moodily and walked into the living room where Sehun was waiting for him 
"Ready for training?" Sehun asked and Kris whined. 

"Can I not go today?" he asked as Sehun pushed him out the door 
"You have to go Kris, stop whining like a baby" he replied and pushed him out, leaving Tao the perfect chance to go out shopping and preparing for the time being.

"Now if I was a famous actor" Tao muttered to himself as he looked around the shop 
"What would I want for my birthday?" he finished and sighed when he couldn't figure out what to buy 
"You alright there?" the owner asked 
"I'm trying to figure out what to get someone for their birthday" Tao replied as the owner smiled 
"Can I ask if it's a possible girlfriend?" they asked 
"No my boss" Tao replied and the owner paused to think. 

"Well how about getting him a present that has no real meaning if you're stuck" they said and Tao frowned 
"What do you mean by that?" he asked 
"Well, if you have no idea who to get your boss, buy him anything and write it of as a joke later on" the owner replied and Tao paused before nodding 
"That could work" he muttered and looked around the shop before he found something and smirked and took it over to pay for it. 

........ 

"No more" Kris whined, flinging himself onto the bed 
"What's wrong with you?" Tao asked, poking his head through the door 
"Training... so much work..." Kris replied whilst Tao rolled his eyes 
"You're like a little kid" he said and Kris turned his head to glare at Tao 
"I'm not like a kid" he replied
"Learning to fight is not that hard" Tao said to which Kris sat up. 

"Says you who's learnt to fight and all" he replied, making fighting moves whilst Tao rolled his eyes  
"Whatever, there's food downstairs I'll see you in two days time" he said 
"Why, where are you tomorrow?" Kris asked 
"It's my day of" Tao replied and got his stuff together before leaving whilst Kris sighed and made his way down to the kitchen.

"What are you doing?" Jonghyun asked the next day when he saw Tao with scrunched up pieces of paper around him 
"I'm trying to plan something but it's not going well" he replied, looking up to Jonghyun with a pout on his face
"Well what are you trying to plan?" Jonghyun asked, taking a seat next to Tao 
"How would you help a... friend of yours celebrate their birthday if they were the type who didn't really want to do anything?" Tao asked and Jonghyun paused to think 
"Well I guess you would ask them what they wanted to do. Tell them they can do anything they want but it has to be outside of the house" he finally said and Tao nodded. 

"Did that help?" Jonghyun asked and Tao nodded 
"Yes it did" he replied and smiled before pulling Jonghyun in for a kiss before the two started cuddling.

When Kris woke up, he rolled over in his bed and sighed, he knew exactly what today was... did he want to celebrate it? Not really. What was the point in celebrating the fact you're a year older when your loved ones aren't there? Plus who would want to celebrate the fact he was inching closer to thirty? All he wanted was a quiet day in, nobody disturbing him and to sleep for longer... of course that was not going to happen... 

"WAKE UP SLEEPY HEAD" Tao shouted, walking into the room and banging a wooden spoon onto the wok 
"Leave me alone" Kris replied and whined when Tao pulled the bed covers of him 
"Come on birthday boy rise and shine" he said and went to pull the curtains back whilst Kris sighed as he sat up 
"There I'm up... happy now?" he asked and Tao nodded
"Good because we're going out today for your birthday" he replied to which Kris groaned.

"But I don't want to go out" he whined 
"Come on it'll be fun" Tao replied but Kris laid back down in bed and Tao sighed as he walked over to grab his arm and pull him up 
"You can do whatever you want to celebrate it, you just have to be out of the house" he added 
"Anything I want to do?" Kris asked and Tao nodded
"You name it, you will go there" he replied 
"Well then you're going to have to come with me seeing as this is your idea" Kris said and Tao nodded.

"Sure" he replied 
"Alright then... we'll go to the.... cinema" Kris said 
"And we have to watch any film I choose" he added and Tao nodded
"Right, you get up and get dressed, I'm going back to mine to grab some money and I'll be back in a minute" he said and with that ran down the stairs and out the door 
"That guy" Kris muttered and got up to get dressed.

That was when he noticed something lying on the floor outside his room and when he picked it up, realised that it was a present.... from Tao... when he opened it his immediate reaction was to laugh at what the boy had bought him but nonetheless smiled and put the present on his bed and walked to the bathroom for a quick shower with a smile on his face....

ALSO! Would you ever be paranoid that if you became famous, somebody would find out that you had an AFF account and exposed every single blog and fanfic you ever wrote on here? Imagine what your parents would think o.O
