Eunhyuk stood in the shower, scrubbing himself thoroughly. With every rub of the soap over his skin he remembered the teasing words of the members. That he smelled bad, that he was abusing the sniffer dog with his smell. He had kept a straight face on the show, but had sobbed when he was alone. This wasn't the first time on the show that they had made fun of his smell..

And now, halfway through his shower, he was still scrubbing at his skin harshly. The soft delicate skin was now a raw red, but Hyuk showed no signs of stopping. It was only when the soap ran out that he turned the shower off.

 

Walking to his room, he saw Kyuhyun lying in bed, playing a game. When he saw Hyuk come in, he gasped and went to him.

"Hyuk, what happened? You must have had a really hot shower!"

"I'm fine Kyuhyun, just a little tired..."

"You're not fine, let me help you. You need to put some moisturiser on, your skin looks so sore."

Pulling away from the touches, Eunhyuk lay down on his bed and felt the blanket rubbing against his skin. It was painful, and he began to cry quietly. It hurt to be really clean, but he was made fun of when he wasn't. He couldn't win.

 

"Eunhyuk, please talk to me. What's wrong, what happened?" 

Silence.

"I can hear you crying Hyuk. If you don't talk, then I'm coming in with you." He gave the boy two seconds before climbing into his bed and cuddling him close.

"Don't sleep next to me Kyu, you won't like it.."

"What do you mean? Are you a kicker?"

"No, I-I smell.."

Kyuhyun looked at him warmly, and hugged him tighter, breathing in the boy's sweet scent. 

"You smell perfect to me."

"I've been showering for an hour Kyuhyun..."

The younger boy looked up at Eunhyuk, and pressed a kiss to his forehead. Suddenly, the boy's red skin made sense.

"Eunhyuk, were you rubbing your skin all that time?"

At the nod, he cuddled him close. "It's okay. You don't smell at all. You're perfect to hug, and everyone's feet smell a bit sometimes."

 

As the boy explained about his embarrassment on the show, Kyu held him closer.

"It's okay Hyuk, it was only teasing. I know that you feel hurt, but they didn't mean it. I'm sure if they knew how upset it made you then they would stop right away."

He looked at Eunhyuk, and rubbed his back. "Do you think they smell perfect? Kangin and Donghae spend all of their lives at the gym, and they have to shower all the time. Don't be worried about the teasing, I'll get them to stop.."

Nuzzling into Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk felt his worry slowly disappear.

 

And as Kyuhyun brought out the moisturiser to soothe Eunhyuk's sore skin, he also soothed his worries. He soothed his heart.
