Chapter 1: This makes no sense. Everybody has bad breaks but they don't die from them. What bad break did he have? Did he get fired and then commit suicide? Usually, people just say, "Oh, well. Those are the breaks," and continue on. Bad luck rarely kills people. You don't explain even one bad break that he had.
