A little summary:  The world’s divided, hateful, and ugly.

They lived in an era sometime after cities and the peak of science technology. This time period, we call, the Dark Era. In the DE, the world is in a wreck. Male babies are raised until they’re twelve. After that, they are sent out in groups by neighborhood and are placed into armies, where they train hard. After three tiring, stressful years, when they turn fifteen, they emerge into what we call ‘gangs’. Gangs are classified into three different groups – Top, Middle, and Basic.

Female babies are raised up to the age of five, just to be sold to dwellings, where they live and learn etiquettes and such until they turn seventeen. Then they have to attend a special ceremony, where the gangs choose their Prix, which means ‘prize’. In this wretched universe, females are toys. Women are objectified. Their only purpose is to look after the gang when they turn seventeen. And in this type of Era, there's a specific girl, unsubmissive and unique. If she gets chosen by a particular, special gang...what would happen?

Intertwined with unexplainable feelings, long-time rivalries, inevitable dangers, and problems that are unprecedented in a group of teenager's lives as they struggle to survive while maintaining their reputation and health, what does the world have in store for them? Will they get through it all - alive...and happy?

Words from the "Librarian":  The OC isn't the fragile and cutesy princess. Jinah reminds me of Katniss from Hunger Games; both girls are sensitive, egoish, unpredictable and has an independent soul. So, I just support Jinah all the way in the story. Girl Power!!

The descriptions given in the story are vivid and clear, I could visualise clearly the images in my mind when I read her chapters. I was never a fan of "Gang" stories until I read this. Despite the fighting scenes, I still enjoyed it throughout.

The relationship between Luhan and Jinah is also something special, something unique from the cliche stories in AFF. Their first meeting was never the "love at first sight" scene. Something fresh in my opinion as Jinah still dislikes some actions done by Luhan in the later chapters.

This fanfic is not humourous or happy but gives off a somber and calm feeling. One reason why I like this fanfic is, Seohee wrote about the bias and impartialness of humans, instead of romcom where everything there is fictional and perfect. After all, the world has its weak areas. So, I would recommend this story as the reality level is high.

The updates are fast as she updates several times a week. Each update are all well-written and perfect in length, not too long, not too short, just perfect.
