“Dude, I think you should just tell your boyfriend you want to break up,” I said turning my head a little to look behind us.

There was a man wearing all black clothing with a pair of black glasses covering his face along with a black mustache. He had been trailing after us the moment we left the convenient store, which was really weird to begin with.

“He’s the leader of a gang Mi! I don’t want to be killed off!” she cried harshly as I rolled my eyes. “So? Just tell him! I’ll be there to back you up,” I replied trying to pry her hand off of my arm.

“I can’t… I’m too scared!” she cried as I gritted my teeth noticing the man in the back pull out a black cell phone and punch in some numbers before turning back to Oanh.

“It’s better than having him send out his lackeys to watch you every hour of the day,” I said turning my eyes to the man behind us.

“Huh? What lackeys?” she asked as I wondered if it was just innocence or stupidity that made her never realize that there was a man in all black following us.

I rolled my eyes and watched her turn her head to look behind us before smacking her arm to get her to turn back to me.

“That’s not one of Kei’s lackeys! I already memorized all of his followers, this guy is definitely not a member of Kei’s gang!” she whispered urgently as I felt myself start to panic.

Could this guy be from a gang that is the enemy of Kei’s? Holy crap.

“How would you know? He has glasses on his face!” I cried trying to calm myself with logic. “But he has a mustache, all the guys in Kei’s gang are young and hot, especially that one dude named Minh,” she said before giggling and turning her head to the skies to show how she was dreaming again.

“Maybe it’s a fake mustache!” I cried. Step 2, Denial. Gosh darnit. “Call Kei and ask him, if it’s not him then we need to get away from this dude as fast as we can,” I said.

She nodded, her head full of curls bouncing up and down. Her thick eyelashes fluttered as she pulled out her cell phone and started dialing his number, mouth pursed in concern.

Binh Nhi is by far much prettier than me, though a little more stupid than I would like her to be. We’ve known each other since we were still in diapers.

She and I used to wear glasses until she got laser eye surgery and from then on she turned from nerd to hot girl. I still wear glasses but she’s still trying to convince me to get eye surgery too. That’s too scary for me *shivers*.

So she’s stuck with me since forever. “Allo? Anh ha? Yea, it’s me, Binh Nhi. Uh-huh… okay… uh-huh…. We’re safe…. Uh-huh… there’s this weird dude following us… are you sure? Oh… that sounds like a movie… Oooo it is?... I would love to watch it with you this Friday! Okay honey… hurry and come get us, byez! Lots of love…” she stated into the phone as I gritted my teeth waiting for her to finish and tell me what this whole situation is.

“Well?” I asked. “Oh… Well Kei said some stupid gang is trying to finding ways to harass him so he told me to be careful and go home early and always have people with me. But other than that he says I will be super safe and always as cute as I always will be!” she said cutely as I gave her the “huh” look.

“Ok… sooooo…” I started before noticing the guy in the back close his phone and turn to us. This made me panic a little. (FairyWater cut off!)

(TuyetHoaTienTu starts)

“Hey you.” The man in black said as we freeze in our walking position.  What could he want from us?  D*mn Binh Nhi and her gang involvements.  Now I’m in this too, and I don’t even get anything out of this.  It’s more like I’m a maid or her bodyguard.

[FlashBack] 

“Sit down.” A male gangster said as his homies forced me to sit on the leather chair.  D*mn.  Gangs sure are rich; even the room is decorated with diamonds.  I looked around the dim room with sparkling walls and the male sitting in front of me slam the table loudly. 

“Look.  I’m asking you to look after my girlfriend, Binh Nhi.  If anything happens to her…” the male in front of me said as the light in the room started to flicker.  One flick of the light, I could see him holding a knife in his hands carving a red apple on his other hand.  Holy crap! 

He’s gonna’ shank me.  My eyes focused on the knife in his hands as the light flickered again.  This time, he had a gun in his hand and was pointing it in my direction.  No…he’s gonna shoot me in the head!  The light flickered again and now he’s holding a grenade in his hand.  Scratch that, he’s gonna blow me up into pieces! 

My face went pale as the light flicked one last time and he was sitting back in his seat looking at me.  “Yes, Dai Ka.  I will protect her.  Please don’t hurt me.” I cried out as he just shook his head and his homies ganged up on me. “You’re her bff right? You know what the two f’s stand for right? Friends…FOR…EVER.” He said with a rather creepy look on his face, as if he was saying that I would stay by her side, bathe by her side, and die by her side. “For…ever?” I repeated staring at him with thought of always being her bodyguard forever.

In my mind I saw lights flashing and I got shot several times, dying at least 10 times, worser than a cat.  “Good.  Take her away.” He says as the gangs pulled me out of the dim sparkling room.  “No!  I don’t want to die!” I cried out loud as they blindfolded me pushed me out of the dim room.  [Flash Back Ends] 

Dude sure knew how to make people want to poop themselves. Gangs sure know how to make people scared.  “Miss, you dropped your wallet.” The man in black said as he walks up to us and held out a black wallet.  “Um…I don’t have a wallet.  And she has a purse.” I said to him as Binh Nhi just nod her head in agreement.  “I think it must belong to you since everything you wear is black.” Binh Nhi said boldly to the unknown person.  The man in black looked at the wallet and was thinking of something in his mind. 

“Um…yes.  You’re right.  It was mine.  Thank you for finding it for me.”  The man said laughing to himself as if we are long time friends of his.  “Then, we will be going.  Nice meeting you.” I said to him and pulled Binh Nhi along with me.  “Wait…I want to thank you girls for finding my wallet.” The man said pulling onto my arms which made me panic even more.  What the heck is this person talking about?  He pretended to drop his own wallet, found it himself, and then tries to make us believe we found it for him so he can pay us back?  What is he thinking?  He’s not gonna kidnap us is he?  D*mn it. 

“Mister.  You found your own wallet.  We didn’t do anything.  Please excuse us, we have to go.”  I said as he held on tight to my arm again.  “You sure you want to go?  I want to repay you.  Just step in that empty alley over there for just two minutes?” the man said trying to convince us to go with him to the alley.  There’s no doubt about it.  He wants to kidnap us.  Seeing his face turn red with anger, I notice he was putting his hands in his pocket.  Oh no…he’s gonna pull out a gun. We better run! No, I better run!!!(TuyetHoaTienTu stops)

(FairyWater starts)

My heart felt like it stopped and even time stopped as I turned and prepared to run. I reached out to grab Binh Nhi’s hand and opened my mouth to scream before I saw him pull out his cellphone and dial someone’s number.

“Dai ca? Uu, hai dua no khong chieu theo em… em phai lam cai gi day? Nhu vay a? Khong co dau! No xau lam! Uu! … mot con mat lon hon con kia! Uu… roi sao do no bi con thang lan that la lon an… uu… dung coi phim do… phim xxx hay hon… hehehe… Roi thi… Okay… em biet roi… Anh sap toi chua?” he said as I turned to notice Binh Nhi disappeared from sight.

Translation: "Yes boss?  Yeah, those two won't follow me....What should I do?  Like that?  No way!  She's so ugly!  Yes!  One eye is bigger than the other!  Yea..So after that, a really big lizard ate them...yes...don't watch that film...film xxx is much better...hehehe...and then...okay...I know boss...Are you here yet boss?"

What the hell?!? Where the hell did she go? My mouth fell open as I twirled around and around to try to find Binh Nhi.

“Dude! Did you see that really pretty girl next to me? She like… just disappeared!” I cried as the guy looked at me while still chatting on the phone.

“Huh? What girl?” he asked as I stared at him in a rather confused manner. “You know… that one girl with curly hair and really big eyes and thick eyelashes? A rather stupid look pasted on her face? That one!” I cried as he continued to stare as if I was dumb.

“Oh… her… she left me this piece of paper and said that the one I was looking for would be standing here waiting,” he said as I ripped the paper out of his hands and stared at it.

‘The girl with thick glasses and a rather stupid look pasted onto her face is the girlfriend of Kei, Leader of… some really big gang… or something…’

My mouth dropped even further to the ground.

I can’t believe she doesn’t know the name of the gang that her boyfriend is the leader of. I don’t have a stupid look pasted onto my face!

Have I been used all along? God d*mn it!

“Hurry and come, dai ca! She looks like she’s gonna run,” he said before turning off the phone and putting it into his pocket.

“You look just like I thought you would, girlfriend of Kei,” he said glaring at me with beady eyes.

“Uh… excuse me? How did you think I would look?” I replied, feeling rather offended by this man. How dare he!

“Well… that bastard liked to eat his hotdogs with ketchup! That’s just rather nasty! He has bad tastes, therefore dating you would be just the norm for him,” the dude said as I stared at him.

“What? But people in America eat their hotdogs with ketchup!” I argued feeling really frustrated with the stupid man in front of me.

“This is Asia! Are you stupid? We eat our hotdogs with Nuoc Mam(Fish Sauce)!” he said as I felt like whatever the hell I ate at lunch would be coming up pretty soon.

“We do not! That’s kinda gross!” I cried crossing my arms and puffing my cheeks. “It is not! Not gross at all! You take that back!” he cried like a little girl who was throwing a tantrum.

“Whatever! Then what do you eat hamburgers with?” I asked getting rather curious, waiting for his response.

“Nuoc Tuong (Soy Sauce),” he said. I rest my case; this guy is a moron, a rather big moron. Who the hell would eat nuoc tuong(soy sauce) with hamburgers?

“Then what do you do with your pizzas?” I questioned continuously. “Duh! I scrape off all the ketchup and replace it with Tuong An Pho (Hoisin Sauce) and sometimes I take off the pepperoni and replace it with fried tofu,” he said as I stared at him.

This man is all Asian, that’s all there is to it.
