SHINee stood in the elevator, chattering nervously.

“Why do you think manager-hyung called us out here?” Jonghyun asked.

“I don’t know,” Key replied, “But he mentioned something about  T.V., maybe we are guest-starring on a variety show!”  The quintet arrived at their floor and slowly made their way into the boardroom.

“Ah, boys!” Their manager greeted them warmly before gesturing for them to sit down, “Now you are probably wondering why Sooman-sshi and I have called you here.”

“Yes!” the four boys exclaimed back. Choi Jin chuckled at the group’s confusion.

“Well we brought you here to talk to boys about a new project we have had brought before us.” Lee Sooman said, “We are proposing a television show, with you five as the pilot season!” The five singers sat in silence for a second before the leader spoke up.

“What will this show be about Sunbae?” Onew asked cautiously. Sooman smiled.

“The main ideas is that idols are given the responsibility of taking care of and training one of our trainees!”

“What!” Key exclaimed, “We have to care for a kid again?!”

Don’t worry Kibum,” Jin assured, “This trainee is much older than Yoogeun. You will more of a mentor to them then an appa."

" What will the program be called?" Minho pipped up.

"The name we came up with is 'Hwan-yeong Trainee'" Sooman answered. Minho mouthed the words to himself before sitting back in his chair contently.

"Does this mean I'm going to be a hyung?" Taemin asked excitedly,  a huge smile on his face. Yooman shook his head.

"No," he said, "Not exactly." Taemin frowned.

" Wait," Jonghyun said suddenly, "This trainee will be older than Taeminnie?" He pointed at the downtrodden maknae.

"Oh no, you'll be older," Jin corrected, " It's just that....... well,your trainee will be your yeo-dongsaeng."

"A GIRL!" The boys all exclaimed at once.
