What could have you done to save yourself? It looked normal at first. People walking by wearing their dull colour jackets layer after layer assorted with their worn out expression, it was like any other night where they came back from work, tired and exhausted.
It was cold. The temperature was decreasing drastically. The multiple layers that I wore were not making it better. I admitted that I could never stand coldness but at this point, it seemed like everyone could not bear it. The mist that was escaping my lips was getting thicker and it made me harder to breathe. The cramp on my stomach was not making it any better. Menstruation should have come a few days ago but recently, the cycle had been irregular.
But nevertheless, everything looked normal until someone dashed across the street with just a short pants and a slipper, top it off with a sleeveless shirt. It was winter, temperature was still dropping and someone was wearing a summer clothes?
