She bolted out of the door as soon as she got the chance. Roughly wiping her lip clean of blood, she stormed across the street, stifling familiar tears. Her neck ached and her heart bled, but she ran and ran until she arrived at an abandoned, almost broken bridge that had been on her mind for weeks. She walked up to the railing and breathed in the scent of nature.

       He didn't bother packing his things. He just ran away and wandered aimlessly, letting the tears fall. The words replayed over and over in his head and tear after tear fell down his cheek. Suddenly, the place he'd heard of so many times popped into his mind. He started toward that old bridge with solid footsteps. But when he arrived, he gasped at the sight of an unfamiliar silhouette of a girl already looking over the railing.

       They both took a deep breath, finally ready to find their peace.
