Sehun grew accustomed to his new routine; waking and spending his days full of classes and studying and eating and television before taking the potion and falling asleep to spend his nights with LuHan, adventurous and daring for the fist time in his life. He hadn’t realized how much of an impact the older man had on his life and his outlook until one day when a classmate commented on how he seemed so much happier, so much friendlier than ever before. He paused to consider her words and was amazed to find that they were true; he was actually enjoying speaking with his classmates, answering questions the professor asked, even going to get coffee with his fellow students in the short time they had between classes. The transformation on his life and his outlook was amazing, and he didn’t try to deny even once that it was all because of LuHan. The Chinese man’s impetuous and spontaneous nature had infected him, like a welcome fire spreads its warmth into one’s bones after being in the cold for so long.
Sehun considered his new life as he brushed his teeth, staring intently at the face in the mirror and studying his own features in a way he never had before. A girl had asked him out today, and though he had been shocked and delightfully pleased he had politely turned her down. His entire life had been spent in the shadows, always the studious, quiet one who got good grades but never got the girls. He had wondered for a time why he had turned her down; she was attractive and smart and friendly, and definitely someone he would probably been able to fall for.
