By the age of seven, Kyungsoo had been stopped by a weird looking Shaman woman when he was accompanying her mom to the traditional market. The woman said that he was special, and he was sent by God to create happiness in the world. Her mom thought she was a little insane and pulled him away from her, but Kyungsoo’s been grateful to her since then because he became aware that seeing people with different color of ribbons that grew from inside their butts like a tail isn’t an indication of him losing his mind; it is a gift.

He came to learn that every person comes to the world with long small ribbon — coming out of their tail bone — which in supernatural term is called ‘string’. Every string has different color, and every color has different shade, too. It is almost similar with aura, and people with same color of strings tend to click. Birds of the same feather flock together; people of the same string become the best of friends.

Though, to be soulmates, they need to have the same shade, too. He’s seen some of divorced couples have different shade of strings; for example the husband’s string is violet while the wife is lavender, although the color is the same but they have different shades, so they’re better off as friends than to be together as a couple. There are also people who have two or more soulmates with different or same , and they usually settle with being wife and the best buddies. People who seem to have contrast personalities can be soulmates, too, because many people came with duo colors of strings; his seniors Minseok and Luhan, for example, Minseok’s blue-red string matches perfectly with Luhan’s red-yellow one.
