To cut the short story shorter. Luhan could not come.

He didn't want to see Sehun.

He didn't want to see the person he loves the most.

Why?

Because Sehun was sick and tired of his life. Luhan was sick and tired of his life too.

Both were tired of their lives and the reunion was some kind of excuse.

Maybe Luhan did want to see Sehun. His father didn't allow it because he was thinking of himself; his son is sick and needs treatment. If his son dies too soon, no one will inherit his power and richness.

Maybe Sehun didn't want to see Luhan. If he sees Luhan, he might regret not keeping him as a lover and not as friend. "Luhan's going to die anyway." Luhan's father had told me outside the hospital.

And so, Sehun goes to the reunion by himself and without Luhan. He watches his friends and classmates cheering and smiling at each other. He was smiling too, but in a sick way. Sehun lights a match and burns the dandelions.

He sees a rope to hang the senior reunion banners everywhere, but he knows the rope does not have to be just for banners.

It could be for him too.
