Jongin wakes up with a harsh tug on his stomach, as if someone wrapped a tight harness around him and pulled him forth in the speed of sound. A few blinks of his eyes and he realizes that he has been apparated. But by whom? He starts to panic when he remembers the green and red flashes from the wands of the Death Eaters, and all the shouts of Incendio, Crucio, and Avada Kedavra thrown at the professors and students; he remembers the tongues of fire burning down the castle, the terrified shrieks of the first years that was cornered by the Death Eaters.

    When he takes a sharp inhale, he feels slightly gratified that clean air has replaced the smoke threatening to choke him in his lungs. Looking around, he notices that he's in the Forbidden Forest along with someone whom he doesn't know.       "Jongin." A soft voice says from beside him, and a wave of relief fills his gut. The Gryffindor stumbles back, though, his legs still feeling a bit numb from the apparition.       He takes in the sight of his Junmyeon hyung, and he feels so happy that he's alright and alive. He's too happy to notice the look of desperation and utter worry in Junmyeon's eyes.       "H-hyung... Junmyeon hyung," Jongin manages to croak out as a sob threatens to come out of his lips.
